Oooh, feeling rich? 😆

Volkswagen V10 diesel. You'll want the roll cage to keep it from twisting up the car. I think those were 500hp and 500ft/lbs in a a Toureg.

Roll cages are dangerous without a helmet. I've read more than a few stories of people driving a caged street car, getting into an accident (without a helmet on obvs) and either dying from a head injury or had some form of brain damage. Unprotected heads and roll cage bars do not mix.

Your body moves a lot more in a wreck than you'd think.

Definitely need a good 5 point harness and proper head Clarence.
Helmet probably won’t happen in a street driven car

Getting back to work on the 40. New front bumper finally going on.

I will be reworking the fenders and getting rid of the front nose hoop.

Cut some mounts on on the table that replicate the factory 40 mounts and will weld them on tomorrow. Got some lights ordered for the bumper. They are 4500 lumen (each) 6" bars with an amber DRL to use as a blinker.

Bumper mounts welded in, waiting for lights now.

Started on the front sway bar.

Stuffs right in between the pitman and the frame.

Heavily modified the arms. Everything clears. Barely.

ooh, I need a sway-bar too, I like the location. I will have to see if I can sneak one in there too. Which bar did you use? I look forward to a report back on how it feels.

Went to the rocky mountain offroad expo today with some customer builds. Had a good time.

Got to scary ramp a few of the rigs to clean them.

Been super busy with little time to work on the weekends. But, I finally found some time.

Colorado requires a front license plate, so i made a bracket for the front bumper.

Then started playing with the harness to try and figure out codes. Check for continuity between a lot of the susposed problems.

Sooo much fun

Managed to do something, and I got some codes to change. So progress, maybe?

DJ what size AntiRock bars did you go with on your rig? I am looking at one for the rear of mine.

I went with an 1" on the rear, and 3/4" up front.

Well, the 8l90 is shifting now. It had a fully corruped TCM tune. Got that reflashed today and all is well. I need to redo my intake to get my maf sensors happy, and it seems like it is slightly restricted by how rich it runs. We do it nice because we do it twice
