Painting pisses me off.
This is not going well...
It's acrylic paint from Cruiser Corps.
Second coat. After priming, sanding primer, and scuffing the first coat of paint with 400g.
1st coat of paint had a full week of cure time.

Ok, so another needed change. I pick up really bad driveline vibrations around 65-70, and am scared to go faster than 70 with how bad it gets. Problem: this engine wants to go 80+ all the time it seems.
Current idea for a fix:

Backed it into the ditch, drove the Hilux on.
Took a minute to find the right ditch though. I'm going to have a rollback meet me in Montrose to get it off. The way home it'll be just the pickup on the trailer. The 40 is staying in Colorado...

Had a few hours this morning. So made good use of it. Finished stripping the underbelly, wiping it down and spraying undercoating.

Finally picked this up from the laser cutter yesterday! Very excited, the cuts came out beautifully with almost no slag.
A quick test fit on the spare transmission case and everything lines up great so far. Only the clearance holes are laser...
Made some really good progress on the rear speaker enclosures this weekend.
I dislike paint work. I'm pretty patient, but painting is a skill that requires some talent too. I'm lacking in the skill department. 😆

LS power steering STAINLESS STEEL pump adapters. These are extended to clear the pulley (WITHOUT REMOVAL) and allow for a simple 6AN fitting to be installed.
