The shroud should really help at low speeds and I'm hoping that I've solved my overheating issues.

I've been crimping up some new A/C lines. I just need 1 more fitting and I can get it charged today.

Our head fabricator, Alex, compliaining that my rear seats are too small, and the cage is too close to his head.

For refrence, he is ~6'5". I'm not planning on taking anyone taller than 5'8" in the back. Too much bonk possibility on the cage.

Too small? Has he ever sat in a factory jump seat before? What quarter panel lights are those? That fan clutch looks really close to the radiator. It should be fine but I would keep an eye on it. The new body work looks really nice. Have you thought about some metal tech fenders or something?

Alex was joking about the seats. He doesn't like them very much.

The fan clutch is about 3/4 of an inch from the radiator, so no depth change from my old one.

Which lights are you talking about? My rock light things? They are just some cheap amazon ones that I got for Cruise Moab.

I'm planning on building some new tube fenders ASAP. They need to be pretty custom, as the top of my wheel will about reach the top of the aprons when articulating. I have the design I want in my head, but have not yet found the time to build them, yet.

I was talking about the lights in you quarter panels. The parking lamps.

The marker lights? Those are some Landrover thing, I think. Maybe a Defender. I found them on ebay.

I kind of got so wrapped up trying to finish this thing, I forgot to keep updating this thread. Anyways, this will be a pretty long one.

I stuffed some OEM badges on.

My Bowfin Cruisers roof rack that I won last year. I'm not sure I love it on this 40, but the design is great, and it's growing on me.

Alex was really kind and folded up some sliders for me. They are 3/16" plate, gusseted.

Truman, being the center of attention, as usual.

Mounting these was a massive PITA due to my exhaust, but I was able to get 3 non-bent cross members welded to the frame. Two are 1.5" x .120 wall DOM, and the other is a slightly notched, vertical standing 1/2" x 2" solid flat bar.

Tube fenders.

I got some pieces bent, but the lengths and angleswere just a tad bit funky, so I had to shorten and notch it some.

These have tube clamps on both ends so everything is fully removable.

One side skinned.

I really like the way these look, but they are a bit heepish.

Roof rack looks great.
Great work, dude.

Thanks! Still a lot I need to do, but it's closer to being finished, at least as projects go.

Will you switch to led ‘s up front? Or are they already led that look like halogens

I think I am going to stick to halogens, just to be nice to people on the road. I don't want to be blinding everyone I see. The lightbars should be more than enough.

My 2¢ I was just thinking something like this would look shweet on your rig!

A few pictures from the show. I was next to Kitty, and it made my cruiser look really small. We had a really great linup, with several 40's, two 60's, a 100 series, a minitruck, and a Toyota Epic 22 Boat, aka the 'Toybota'

I ended up driving Kitty back with my sisters BF. He had a blast. It gets all the looks.

So did Proffitt’s pay you to just work on your own 40 your whole time there?
