A quick comparison for my 40 height to a 2.5" lift with 31s.

My frame height, 19.75"

Roof cap height at b pillar.

75.5"

A 40 we have in the shop with our shackle reversal, 31"s, and 2.5" lift.

Bottom of frame height at 17.75"

Roof cap height @ b pillar.

73"

I also got my rear bumper fully wired and installed, and the top grip taped.

Thanks, that's about an inch lower than where I have mine modeled at, but I'm not accounting for tire deformation once it has weight on it and that the actual diameter of a 37" tire is usually a bit short so I'm still probably pretty close to you on height. Been working on my link setup and playing with the calculator more and will be asking some questions tomorrow.

And skid plates. The confuser and valve body for the 8l90 is literally an 1/8 of an inch from the bottom of the trans pan, and I really don't want to see those two meet.

Good to hear. I figured I was around a 4" lift. Packaging that suspension without touching the body was a PITA, BUT I have about 4" of uptravel on the rear and 4.5" up front. No idea on droop numbers, but more than enough for a full body rig.
