That’s what I call a keeper 😎

I just recently heard a story that explained that it’s a reference to snakes. Never crossed my mind before that moment…

Also Nope Rope, Julius Squeezer, and pretzel are a few I can think of.

They send you out the door with a juice box and snackies.

Exactly. We call em a mott around here cause you leave with a mott's fruitsnack.

Bumper lights came so I got some holes put in. Waiting for the bumper to go to sandblast now, then I'll powdercoat it.

I picked up these ff 80 spindles from @too tall, now I'm finally getting around to the new rear axle build.

Got the excess housing off and lathe it down to insert it into the new housing.

New housing is beefy. Ruff stuff 9.5" builder housing, 3/8 tube and probably 5/16 housing material. It's heavy.

Trimmed the housing to length for a centered diff.

That is going to be a nice axle. Have you considered switching the spindles L/R so you can flip the backing plates and put the parking brake cable up high out of harms way? I am always destroying mine

I've never thought of that. That could be interesting. I haven't found the cable yet, but my shock mounts protect it pretty well.

Sounds like you to get it onto some bigger rocks :flipoff2:

To be fair, I only hooked up the cable last year at cruise moab to be legal. Only run I've done since then was SAS lol.

Got the bumper back from sandblast, was able to quickly get it powerdercoated today.
