Back up for sale. Runs great! Desmogged, Base lined with all new fluids/grease/gear oil and fresh clean gas and new fuel pump. New plugs and plug wires. Transfer case was redone at some point but they used rtv to reseal it. Shifts and operates great. Header installed with carb rebuild, along with new exhaust pipe and muffler. Exhaust needs to be done better, I just did a quick job to get it inspected. The exhaust works fine, just not the ideal setup. Vehicle #1 is a 1984 FJ60, straight body and clean frame, rough interior, looks to have suspension mods. It was repainted when I acquired it so do not know what is under the paint. Manual shift pedals. Brakes are good w/new master cylinder, new tires, interior is rough and missing front seats, dash cap cracked, etc. Comes with reconditioned Dash Gauge cluster that is like new. 3 months ago I sold the cleanest FJ62 I have ever seen. Well, I have since found the second cleanest one I have put my hands upon and the story is the same.... MY WIFE likes the Toyota trucks, but won't even LOOK at an automatic transmission. So I am daily driving it to work these days, with the ultimatium to swap it to manual or let it go.
So here we go again: UBER clean- extrememly respectable, original condition, classy 1988 FJ62 with 139,700 miles.

This truck is a 1 owner and accident free from Montana, where it lived the majority of its life. Original 2F engine with 4 speed manual transmission. It has a nice stereo with functioning speakers. The interior is in immaculate condition. The frame is solid, just needs some clean up. There are some rust spots in the rear quarter panels and rear tailgate, which is super common for these trucks. The roof is in perfect condition with zero rust, even on the rain gutters. The body is straight and in perfect condition. The doors are smooth shutting with no signs of rust. This Land Cruiser lived most of its life in a very dry climate in Malaga Spain.
A Landcruiser enthusiast was the second owner in Malaga Spain who purchased it from the original owner. He sold the Land Cruiser in October 2012 to me and imported it to Toronto Canada.
Since then this Land Cruiser has always been stored inside a garage.
On arrival to Canada the Land Cruiser had the original paint on it from the bottom of the windows to the roof. The rest of the truck was in primer. It had 234,000 km. Now 301,130km

Hi @all hard post for me to write, but its time for me to pass my 84 copper brown metallic 60 on to the next caregiver. I am the 3rd owner and this truck has lived its entire 40 years in Colorado. She was purchased in May 1985 by at Bighorn Motors,Toyota in Glenwood Springs, CO Sold to "Toms Clinic Pharmacy". So it was the local pharmacists truck, you will find his flys still stuck in the drivers headliner. Second owner was a family/son who purchased the truck in Glenwood but then moved to Estes Park where they ran a Inn on the edge of the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Hey all, sad to say but I’m not in a financial position to finish my FJ62 and need to sell. The motor is rebuilt, tons of upgrades, just needs to be put back together. Have title and honestly don’t care if you part it out. The list is long but it has rear disc, front bullbar and pivot rear bumpers with LED, OME suspension, front and rear seat cover replacement kits, rebuilt alternator, new master brake cylinder, the list keeps going. It’s been garaged for four years and just needs a new home and someone who wants or has the time to actually put it back together.
