Up for sale is my 83 Fj60. 168k original engine / transmission.
Recently have replaced the RMS, throw out bearing, battery ( optima yellow top ), rebuilt carb, engine oil/transmission oil and probably a few other things I can't think of at the moment.
Overall, she runs and drives and is mechanically complete and solid. I've chased out electric gremlins and a few other issues I had over the year. It's really a great rig. Interior is o-k but far from perfect.
The biggest issues are the rear quarter panels, there's no sugar coating that's fact that they're in need of some love. I am attaching pictures I took about a year ago when I initially thought about selling but never did. But, as with all projects...

Hey everbody looking to sell my pristine 1989 FJ62 that I've had for a year and half now. It is ridiculously clean and I've put a ton time and new Toyota parts into making the old girl like new. It is fully sorted and ready to be enjoyed. I am the third owner. It has been a southern vehicle its' whole life. The original owner was a little ole lady that had it serviced exclusively through Toyota up until she sold it in 2012. Then a retired gentleman in Atlanta owned it until my purchase. From what I'm told it was always garaged its' whole life and I believe the condition reflects that. Not a speck of rust anywhere on the body or frame. It did have a glass out repaint in 2018 by the PO and the pictures show it is a flawless paint...

This 1987 TLC with a 12HT turbo diesel is in beautiful shape. It's a JDM RHD vehicle with less than 169 000 miles (271000 kms). After putting less than a hundred miles in the past couple years, the time has come to sell our 1988 FJ-62 Land Cruiser. We've had it for close to a decade, spent many miles exploring and enjoying it, just with a new little one see ourselves driving our 80 and don't have the time to really make the 62 shine like it deserves.
Currently has 232,864 miles and clean title in our names.
Body is in decent shape for an almost 40 year old vehicle, typical dings and paint wear. Couple years ago I rolled a log into the drivers front fender, spent just enough time to hammer it close to shape then shoot it with some 'color matched' paint from Napa. This is a 85 FJ60 that I bought from a friend 5ish years ago. It’s originally from Victoria TX so lived its life here in the south. It just went live on BAT this morning so will see what it does :). Toying with the idea of selling my fj60. It ran rough when I got it with massive vacuum leaks. I starting pulling off all of the smog related stuff as I was going to install a aftermarket efi system and since then have dedicated my time on other projects. Around 230k miles on it. Interior is in rather good shape but exterior is rusty and dented here and there. Frame is super solid with no concerning rust only surface. Have service records dating back into the late 80s along with the original window sticker. Passenger front door and rear quarters have the worst of the rust. For this crowd the most pertinent bit of info is the frame is pretty much junked. Couple feeble patch attempts here and there. I have put 20,000+ miles on it this way with no further degradation. Body has rust as well.

For sale is my 1984 Fj60. This cruiser has been a labor of love, and has taken my wife and I all over the western US. I’m sad to say goodbye, but we have purchased a new to us URJ200 and have decided that having two built Land Cruisers is just too much.
It is well built and in Impeccable mechanical condition. We have driven this all over the Pacific Northwest, to and from Iowa, back and forth to Albuquerque, and back an forth to Moab more times than I can count. Have this fj60 1985. Has lots of rust on body frame is only surface rust. I’ve done some body work but with a baby on the way I want to get some cash instead.
