Alright Deja vu all over again....
3 months ago I sold the cleanest FJ62 I have ever seen. Well, I have since found the second cleanest one I have put my hands upon and the story is the same.... MY WIFE likes the Toyota trucks, but won't even LOOK at an automatic transmission. So I am daily driving it to work these days, with the ultimatium to swap it to manual or let it go.
So here we go again: UBER clean- extrememly respectable, original condition, classy 1988 FJ62 with 139,700 miles.
No significant rust, nothing to hide, nothing omitted, no nonsense.
I have not vaccuumed the interior or wiped down the engine bay-- photos to follow in those areas.
I am cleaning, fiddling, and heading towards making it perfect and ready for the next 150,000 miles, but the biggest thing it needs right now is Rear gate shocks... just for perspective- trucks like this are truly few and far between.
I will be adding things to the vehicle as they come up - gate shocks and a thermostat are next on the list. Fuel pump, fuel level sender, fluids, and tires were first on the list.
Come get a new sleigh for Christmas.
