Sad to say but I’m selling my 1988 FJ62. I’ve owned it since 2017 and have absolutely loved it. Originally bought in Washington State and it’s been a California truck ever since. Link to Gdrive folder with images and videos HERE.

It’s been reliable and taken care of over the years, with a ton of maintenance and upgrades to keep it going:
  • 221k mi: Engine rebuild + new radiator, fuel injectors, hoses, belts
  • 225k mi: New alternator
  • 228k mi: New accelerator cable
  • 231k mi: New transmission
  • 233k mi: New front & rear shocks, brake rotors, knuckles, bearings
  • 237k mi: New cylinder head
  • 238k mi: 4WD transfer case repair + transmission cooler
  • 241k mi: Toggle switch for reverse lights
  • 245k mi: New O₂ sensors (carburetor)
  • 246k mi: Body work after an accident — new rear quarter panel, tow hitch, tailgate and taillight repairs
I’ve kept a folder with every bit of paperwork that I’m happy to share. It starts right up, runs great, and has plenty of life left. Not perfect, but a solid old Land Cruiser that’s been loved and looked after.

looks like it has been loose and caught on something and is bent
