Hi everyone. Can someone tell me which of these two ports on my carb go to the distributor? It’s a 1977 desmogged with vacuum advanced distributor. Is it the port to the left of the mixture screw or to the right of the mixture screw?

Here's a learning experience for you. Ported vacuum means vacuum is only transmitted to the port when the butterfly opens. So close the butterfly and look in the primary barrel of the carb, if the port inlet (small hole) is below the butterfly (direct access to engine vacuum) that is NOT ported. You can also spray a little brake/carb clean with straw into the port in question and watch where it comes out.

If the vacuum port inlet is ABOVE the butterfly, it is ported vacuum.

But left or right port work in this case.
