Solid state SHOULD last basically eternally though.

But spares are cheap too
Buy once cry once.
And don’t have to replace on the trail or the side of the road.
JMO 😝

Very true. I should probably do that.

My battery isolator is a solid state relay. Rock solid so far.

I said some mean things tonight, but the pump eventually came out.

Not the most fun to change.

You take that back. She’s as tough as ever. 🥲
Fair enough.
I’m glad I don’t have to work on it. Let me know how that break line repair goes.
SeeYa soon 😎

My rear suspension was hanging on by a thread everywhere. Toyotas are so weird that they can look semi solid, but they are just completely gone underneath.
This is no joke. I picked up a parts 60 with an ok body. We got it running and drove it into the shop. Put it on the lift to look underneath, body was holding the frame together. I’m guessing it came from the Midwest or northeast. Coworker has a similar looking truck, he says his is fine…

Doesnt have to be that way.....oil undercoating prevents the rust....and ensures that parts come apart when you need them to

I don't think anything can save the terrible coach work of a Toyota in the rust belt. I hose mine down regularly with LPS3, and it was really low on rust when I bought it. 3 winters later, it's starting to get crappy looking.
