So, I did some pressure washing of the pig. Tried to get the old mud and dirt off the frame and underneath. Bought a contraption that turns your washer into a dustless sand blaster. Piece of s**t and only worked for about 30 seconds. Water drips down the sand feed tube and clogs it up. It is still really clean now and I will just have to use some elbow grease to prep for paint.

I guess I have spent a lot of money at RockAuto and they gave a discount code. its only 5% but have at it. I have been very pleased with their prices and shipping. They update you every time something is shipped or if there is a change. Good all around experience. (I am not paid by these guys)

Reached the point of no return. Cut the fender wells out for more room. Cut all of the spring hangers off of the frame and the differntial.

Alright!
Nice start on the pics!

Was it you who picked up some 80 radial arms many moons ago?
That was me. Next weekend I will be mocking up the brackets. When we get all that done I can mock up the shock towers.

I have had a lot going on and it has been hot as bawlz here. Small update. I found a guy with LS wire loom local that was going to fit my setup perfect. He was doing a project and the owner backed out. I got the loom and he flashed my PCM for $400. Worth it to me.

I got the front axle back under the truck and started fitting the radius arms and got some bracket templates figured.

This was just an idea of what it will all look like.

This is the front piece there will be 2 in each side.

The back part is in 2 pieces. Because the frame is at an angle. There is a bracket that goes on the frame then the second part that bolts to the radius arm will be welded at an angle to match the front part of the frame. Below is a rough idea of that.

Well I can always change things, but going longer will have to offset the mount point more and more because the frame is angling outward. I will also run the risk of the arm hitting the frame on full tire stuff because it is flatter there. Its not convenient but not a deal breaker. I have the arms and they were cheap. I can get the bushing and bolts from Toyota anytime. I like custom but I like off the shelf more.

I welcome it. Mind is never 100% made up. Everything I try to do on this pig comes with a compromise. Mainly because I don't have unlimited funds to throw at issues.

Are you saying to skip the part in the middle and extend to the read? I would thing it would leave long portion of the bottom of the bracket without a side flap for strength.

I dont know. I usually over build what ever I do.
