Progress has been slow this weekend. I won’t go into all of the details but it has been two steps forward and one step back all weekend. But I did get the stringers cut and mounted. So I will mark this weekend down as a win!

The good news is that I was pretty close on my estimate. Bad news is pipe is not very cheap these days.

I am pretty much burned out at this point. I have worried about the details to a point where I almost stopped caring. I am not to that point but getting close. I still have some details I have not quite worked out. The contractors involved are...

I can't tell if your block is tapped for a PS pump. Early '78 2Fs were not, but by the end of '78 they were.

I got good news from Pella today. My windows will be delivered in February. I was fearing they would be much longer. I ordered in June and was told it would be 9-18 months. I was really unwilling to compromise so just sucked it up and hoped for...

Front spring packs are rebuilt and so is the rear sway bar. Truck is sitting level and I’m really happy with the stance on 33s. Rear bilstein shocks showed up yesterday and the fronts will be here tomorrow. Once the shocks are mounted I’ll attack...

Thanks Pablo! Still after it today, getting into a project I’ve been hesitant about. It’s kind of a two part project, this here was getting going on the first part. There was a lot of hym-haw in my head over what I should fill and what I should...

I installed the rebuilt 2F engine, trying to sort out the correct water pump and alternator bracket. It was completely disassembled when I got it. I’ll reseal the transfer case and hopefully the clutch arrives this week. Planning on a Holley...

Wow, I came inside for lunch and didn't expect to read this. We all have to make that call at some point, but I'm sure it wasn't easy. Owning a pig is not one of the requirements to hang out in the Sty with the rest of us, besides you're the one...

All interior walls in the shop area are covered. Hopefully this week I can get some wood purchased so I can start building the stairs and decking the mezzanine.

Just to recap, the Lithonia lighting tool calculated 110 foot candles at 30" with 16 of these lights, spaced more or less as I have them (but not exactly in the width dimension). I considered using 12,000 lumen fixtures instead of the 15,000...
