For simplicity and durability I like this the best...but you can get a fancier solution, not sure you NEED it though :hmm:
We did 2*3 rockers on the 510 ice racer after a few big hits and it was great, can just jack up anywhere on the rocker.
Yeh, I've got those IPOR rockers/sliders that are 1/4" thick if I remember right. I still wouldn't want to use them as sliders all the time. I'd rather have some dedicated sliders for the job.

I would cut the outer radiused portion off and leave the inner, vertical portion. Then you can just get a raduised piece of angle or something similar to replace the outer.
The dents in the rocker are pre-armor. Not all the rust is. But, darn it, they work. The bolts look Mickey Mouse, but, Pighead.
What existing bolt holes in the sheetmetal are ovaled, but add flexibility.
