This may be a little preemptive as I am overseas until March 2 but wanted to get the word out in case someone was looking for something like this.
This is a very special FJ62. I would call it a partially restored survivor in that the paint is original and extraordinary. The interior is almost show quality and original. Zero cracks in the dash, zero wear on any of the seats. Carpet is in good condition. Everything works on the car including all the switches from the master switch. Besides a very small amount of tiny rock chips and minute imperfections it is one of the nicest original paints I have ever seen.
The passenger fender had a small dent and was repaired beautifully. No bondo.
This car is 99.9% rust free. It has always been...

Sweet 1983 FJ 60 for sale good running solid vehicle for the mountains and just quiet cruzin. Its got an F2 engine with 158212 miles, a new carb, it also has an extra SOR gas tank that needs to be installed (worth 500+ alone) wheels and tires are good, brakes good new wipers. Clean title
Its needs a new power steering pump one needs to be replaced I have an extra one for parts. Serious buyers only please. really don't want to sell it I had a project for it but building a house is more important (I think) I wont put the VIN # also head liner needs to be replaced.

The time has come to sell my project. I've owned the truck for just under 10 years now and really don't want to sell, but... wife and I have decided to move to Puerto Rico. I used it as a daily driver to and from Denver from 40 minutes into the mountains for years . Never won any races up the mountain passes, but never me stranded either. It's been driven maybe..1000 miles in the last 2 years mostly exploring N New Mexico mountains.
It's parked at my in-laws mini ranch in Elizabeth, CO. Over the past month we've had some decent snow fall (mostly snow drifting) and have had the chance to romp around using the 4x. Shifts in and out smoothly and has been the go to vehicle to pull vehicles out of ditches lately.

1987 FJ60 Land Cruiser, TBI 350 conversion with a mid 90s Chevrolet V8, stock 4spd and transfer case
I bought this truck as a daily driver and used as such for a while but went back to a truck recently. This is a nice cruiser, some normal wear and tear for 31 years old but solid.
The Bad:
- bearing in the clutch just started rattling
- oil leaks
- body is not perfect, not too rough for the age but not a show truck
- bumpers are home made, not great and a previous owner welded them on
- No A/C installed, but many of the parts to complete will come with truck (new in box)
- wiring is amateur
The Good:
- Have a brand new wiring harness from performance fuel injection
- I did the magnet test when I purchased...
I have an '89 FJ62 for sale. It is in good shape with very little rust. It has 292k miles but runs strong. Transmission shifts smooth and the 4wd works as it should. It has had all of the fluids changed recently with exception of ATF and coolant. No immediate issues other than it needs an oil pan gasket and a knuckle job. The passenger window doesn't work and not all of the power door locks work. Would be a great candidate for a restore and/or engine conversion. For more pics, follow this link. Does anyone know this truck? I'm told that it was converted to a 4BD1T NPR in North Carolina prior to the current owner buying it. Does anyone have experience with this truck.. or this type of swap? Looks pretty clean in the videos. It's currently in CA but has Oklahoma tags in the video.

-I recently bought with plans to trail rig it, and then part it out but I figured I’d give it a chance to be live on before doing that.
-The body is rusty. It’s as bad as it looks and I’m trying to hide nothing.
-The frame is surprisingly very solid (minor surface rust) , I put it through the hammer test. The floor seems good aswell, anything structural seems A1. The interior looks about x10 better than body, and the paint (where it has is it) is in good shape
-It runs well, the exhaust is essentially nonexistent.
-Non functioning radio/AC/and PS
-needs General TLC and obviously a lot of body repair

I've owned her for 4-5 years. Since then I've put a new used Motor with new pre-comb. Chambers mls head gasket, water pump. Diaphragm for i.p.
I lost a valve seat in the 3b that came with it, so I have another parts Motor minus a head and piston.

Rad,with electric fan
Mandrel bend exhaust from turbo back.
Rebuilt Garret turbo

Knuckles done all new bearings and deals.
