1987 FJ60 Land Cruiser, TBI 350 conversion with a mid 90s Chevrolet V8, stock 4spd and transfer case

I bought this truck as a daily driver and used as such for a while but went back to a truck recently. This is a nice cruiser, some normal wear and tear for 31 years old but solid.

The Bad:
- bearing in the clutch just started rattling
- oil leaks
- body is not perfect, not too rough for the age but not a show truck
- bumpers are home made, not great and a previous owner welded them on
- No A/C installed, but many of the parts to complete will come with truck (new in box)
- wiring is amateur

The Good:
- Have a brand new wiring harness from performance fuel injection
- I did the magnet test when I purchased, as far as I can tell the quarters and roof do not have the common rust issues
- Replaced power steering pump
- Replaced water pump
- New 17x9 wheels with proper back spacing - no spacers needed, no rubbing
* x5, spare is matching wheel but newer Procomp AT Tire
- Front Axle serviced a month ago by Land Cruiser Specialist here in Austin, TX
- Front and Rear pinion seals replaced when front axle was serviced
- Replaced broken antenna
- Stereo has some nice components to it but again not wired the best
- Starts every time and fun to drive
- Cruiser Corps seat covers and foam
- OME medium lift

New Parts to come with:
- GM A/C Compressor - needs mount for the engine
- GM A/C hoses, need ends converted to Toyota fittings
- New in box FJ60 A/C Condenser
- Valve Covers with gaskets, PCV, Filler cap, etc
- OME heavy rear springs with bushings and u bolts
- Performance Fuel Injection wiring harness

I've put about $2500 into the truck since I bought it about 7 months ago, but life gets in the way sometimes and now I'm hoping I can pass this along to someone else so it feels the love.

Please PM for my phone number and I'm happy to answer any questions.

Just over 250k miles on the truck, unknown on the engine. The P.O. said it was a crate engine but I don't have a receipt to confirm that information.

Wiring harness and Dual battery system professionally installed. They did the throttle linkage and it is slick. The coolant leak was actually a leak in the radiator where they mounted the e.fan. that is fixed. The oil leak was a loose oil pan and filter. Transfer case seals replaced. New ignition switch. Picking Snowflake up on Friday with my mechanic's thumbs up that it is ready to drive it to Steamboat Springs, CO on March 15th. I am very excited! Will post some pics soon and probably do A WTF do now thread lol

Peace

Sounds like she found the right home with the time to give the attention needed, glad you are enjoying it!
