Hi all, I'm feeling out a possible sale of my 85 fj60 with 3b turbo.
4 speed
Originally from out west. Cal. Wa. and new Mexico.
I've owned her for 4-5 years. Since then I've put a new used Motor with new pre-comb. Chambers mls head gasket, water pump. Diaphragm for i.p.
I lost a valve seat in the 3b that came with it, so I have another parts Motor minus a head and piston.
New since I've owned:
Pads,shoes,calipers, rotors.
Rad,with electric fan
Mandrel bend exhaust from turbo back.
Rebuilt Garret turbo
U-joints
Knuckles done all new bearings and deals.
Windshield.
Quarter panels
Currently has banjo fittings between transfer case and tranny. Have seal kit for that.
Extras:
Safari rack
Ozzy side mirrors
Compartment in tailgate
Alternator
Stock chrome wheels (5)
Rear tail lights
Vent visor
Custom jeep bumper
Used but good bearing and seal for a knuckle job.
New U-joints x2 (shop installed the new u-joint that's on now wrong. Zerks not pointing out. I've been dropping the whole shaft for greasing.)
Tires are 70-80% nokians
I've painted the undercarriage. I would say the truck is 98% rust free.
PO had rhino lining painted through out in the interior.
Some minor cracks on dash.
There are still some loose ends elecronicly left from when it was a fj60. But has all stock relays from a bj60 and working edic.
I hit a deer last year. I was able to pull out the right fender enough to keep myself in the road. One thing I was going to try to get to this summer.
I picked up a fair shape cowl, fender,hood. But I think fixing whats there make more sense, just my opinion.
I picked up a honda scooter to bounce around and works been slow.
She sits around quite a bit.
That could change but I'm considering moving to a city for work.
Anything could happen so that's why this is a "feeler" listing.
Close to 260k miles , little less on Motor
No a/c
Can't think of anything that doesn't work.

How's 11 grand for (just about) rust free fbj 60 in hudson valley new york state?
