Well, the time has come, we have decided to sell my Land Cruiser. I don't use it enough and I think there is likely to be someone out there who is looking for one that is as clean as this one. I purchased this vehicle in 2014, It was originally a Wyoming truck, It had 119K Miles on the odo at the time. It now has 140K, still super low miles. It was always a very clean representation of a classic Fj62, however the paint was rough, had a couple dents and minor rust on the quarters. I took it off road a couple times on some light trails with the local land cruiser club. I then decided to restore it. It looks beautiful now. but it is still a very capable rig. Restoration took roughly 2.5 years. Owens Body shop in Baton Rouge did the body...
87 FJ60 in NY
1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 | eBay Posting this one because it has a very low Odo. Claiming 58000 But this rig has spent its entire life on Long Island. At first glance she looks pretty clean. Seller (flipper) discloses that "Chassis, wheels and wheel wells prepped, POR15'd and painted flat black" Pics show some other cover-up type stuff. Door corners are rusting. Paint bubbling elsewhere. This truck may not have been driven much, but spending decades in close proximity to the ocean took its toll. I think she's got the cancer really bad. Be aware of what you are getting yourself into and don't simply fall in love with a low odo. VIN JT3FJ60G4H1135757

I'm new to the Land Cruiser world, but have decided to pursue a 60 series, preferably 62. As a (potential) first time Cruiser, any help and input here would be appreciated. I've been lurking the boards here for a couple months now, but found this CL ad below: 1988 FJ62 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 4X4 How does this look to you guys? Apologies if this one has recently been posted here. Thanks.
Buyer beware - FJ62 on ebay
One of our old flipper/scammer friends has popped up again. If you aren't familiar with the WA State sleazebags, please tread carefully. This rig is offered by CrusinNick a/k/a Dirtyy62. Another a$$hole who uses multiple ebay and mud names to scam people out of their money. One of the MANY threads which discuss this guy: eBay - 1988 Land Cruiser GX The rig currently on ebay is this one: 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser GX | eBay ebay user: 1979t.a on eBay VIN JT3FJ62GXL1117382 He's using the same phone number as other listings: 206-556-0123 Maybe he isn't smart enough to use burners, or change the number every now and then? Bottom line: You can be assured that rig isn't as represented. It's probably on a skipped title. There will be...
FJ60, dream machine
Greetings all, We’ve decided to sell most of our earthly possessions and purchase an expedition RV (unimog) and go for an around the world bid over the next 18 months with my wife and three young kids. As such, I’m listing our 60 for sale. It’s a 1983, 150,000+\- miles, runs beautifully, mostly stock. It has a new billet radiator, replaced hoses and parking brake cable. I have the stock carb that was rebuilt and tuned by JimC, along with all the bits to desmog though that hasn’t been done yet. I bought it from the original owner in IL 4 years ago, sight unseen, and drove it 1800 miles home back to UT. It drives straight and runs right along just great. I’ve made several long distance trips since then and wouldn’t hesitate to drive...
1988 FJ62 For Sale in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
I am selling my 1988 FJ62. The truck has 179,XXX miles on it, and it has been my daily driver until I got a new job that equites travel across the state, which is the reason for sale... Overall, she’s in pretty good shape: PO performed extensive body and paint work to repair/replace rusted body panels ARB front bumper with winch (lights are just for show right now - PO hadn't wired them and I didn't have a need for them) OME 2.5"(?) lift BFG 33x12.50 AT tires with aluminum wheels Decent interior - PO reupholstered the seats with neoprene camo, so I installed covers, but seat foam is firm and comfortable; no cracks in the dash; new shifter bushings; rear carpet has seen better days though Work I have completed: Fluids/filters changed...

Bodywork and undercarriage has only cosmetic rust except a spot on the hatch and behind both rear fenders (shown well in photos) The upholstery is in great condition except some wear and tear on the drivers seat bolster. All interior and dash buttons, switches, levers, and knobs work. Even the window motors are still running strong. Aftermarket stereo, speakers, Kicker amp, and anti-theft alarm. Replaced in the last 1000 miles: Tires Rear Brakes and Struts Steering Linkage Muffler
1989 FJ62 Grey No Rust (AC works great)
The truck has 308,000 miles on it. When I bought it from my father in law, it has 267,000 miles and a blown motor. The little plug on the side of the motor had popped out and drained it. I replaced the motor and the transmission myself, plugged the little oil plug on the new motor. The motor and transmission had 140,000 miles on it. I have records with those exact details (Serial Numbers, etc) if you want to see it. The truck badly needs shocks and a paint job and has a main seal leak. Other cosmetic issues are a cracked dash and ripped up driver's seat upholstery. Otherwise, the truck runs well and is relatively clean. Email if you want specific pictures of the wheel wells or if you have any questions. I have the list of...
