Wanted FJ60 & FJ62 North Carolina

I am looking for an FJ60 or FJ62 in North Carolina. I currently live in the eastern part of the state but am willing to travel for the right vehicle. I am looking to use it as a daily driver to work in back (6 miles). Must be in good mechanical order. A little surface rust is ok.

Good luck finding an FJ. You may want to put a ballpark price you can afford. There are lots for sale and not hard to find if you budget is unlimited. I'm guessing yours it not, so that info would be helpful for those who will be looking for you.

In my humble opinion one that can be a "daily driver, good mechanical order and surface only" starts at about $10,000

Thanks. I found a couple. Just want to have some options. Budget is under $15k
 
If you ask for additional pictures of the brown 88 in Raleigh it has a lot more rust then those pictures lead on.

If I was you and close to Raleigh I would bring cash and go check out that grey one.

Have you seen more pics. I got some additional pictures that showed fixable rust. Wondering if you were able to check the truck out or have got more pics? He did say he had loads of receipts on mechanical work.

No I live in dallas, Tx if it was closer I would go look. He sent me pictures. But there was a lot of rust on the frame, I didn't get pictures of the C channels, and i didn't get pictures of the drip rails or roof. It's just not clean enough for me to justify going that far to look at that price.

If the grey one is as clean as the pictures show I don't think it will last long at that price point. So I haven't asked for more info on that one. NC is just to far for me to realistically get there timely on a good deal.
