Posting this one because it has a very low Odo. Claiming 58000

But this rig has spent its entire life on Long Island. At first glance she looks pretty clean. Seller (flipper) discloses that "Chassis, wheels and wheel wells prepped, POR15'd and painted flat black"

Pics show some other cover-up type stuff.

Door corners are rusting. Paint bubbling elsewhere.

This truck may not have been driven much, but spending decades in close proximity to the ocean took its toll.

I think she's got the cancer really bad.

Be aware of what you are getting yourself into and don't simply fall in love with a low odo.

Not to mention but low resolution pictures hide some rust detail. Look at the rust on the passenger door in the pic above.

From my experience with rusty cruisers, lots here in Atlantic Canada, when you have rust like on the A pillar the lower corners of the winshield are typically pretty bad or once you poke there they cave! She is rusting from the inside out, how it happens in this salt air environment.

...and who recovers seats after only 58K miles!

...I agree. But I also know these wealthy Hamptonites- she could've thought the seats were uncomfortable and had them redone.

yeah this guy definitely is a flipper. Probably "stole" it from the last owner and figured they could try and make a killing eBaying it.

Looks nice, but I wouldn't buy it solely out of principle.

$14K and still RNM. lol

Somebody is going to get that rig home and be severely disappointed.

That engine bay gives me the willies.

like I said, rusting from the inside out. That thing will be full of cancer. Whoever buys it is in for some sorrow.

Auction ended RNM @$17600

The picture of that really nasty rust on driver's door makes my teeth hurt.

I live not far from Nesconset, and also have a silver 60. There are plenty of cars that are bought as summer/beach cars and are left parked under a tree all year, or out in the driveway that sits looking at the ocean. The combination of salt air and neglect is a bad one.
Mine has 3x the mileage (if its actually 58k) and its not rusted as bad as that one. Very suspect to me, that door looks like rust under bondo. 60/62s are popular here, and for that reason may bring more money than average, but i'd feel like i stole from someone if i got half of what that auction ended at.
