Hey Guys, Have been scouring CL/Mud/eBay/anywhere else I can think of for a Blue/Grey 60 since about May. My plan is/was to purchase a truck, drive it to California in November, spend Nov/Dec doing some surfing and exploring there and into Baja. At Christmas, put the truck on a boat, fly home (New Jersey) and meet her in Kauai after New Years for the winter. I have been a little picky (no rust truck) and missed out on a few because I hesitated or couldn't mobilize fast enough being a non-local buyer. Now it's crunch time. I wanted to be leaving within the next two weeks and I still have nothing. If anybody knows of such a truck I would really appreciate a connection. Happy to ship and facilitate an no-hassle transaction. Thanks!! Nick
I'm looking for a clean FJ 60/62. I've been in the market for a while I keep finding myself bouncing back and forth from an 80 series to a 60 series. Looking to spend under 20k for a decently built rig. Something I can daily drive, or drive cross country if possible. If you've got something let me know.
BJ60 1983 by TIggr posted Dec 12, 2018 at 8:49 AMSelling my daily driver with 390,000 kilometers. Frame is solid but needs to be sand blasted/wire brushed and painted. Body work is sub par but solid. Needs headliner. Injectors new, Wilson switch starts engine every time in 0 degree temps. 5 speed manual tranny. Can send more picks/vids. $6500 firm. I will either sell or restore this truck. In the meantime BJ is simple, a ton of fun and capable.
fj 62 3rd owner 13,900 - remarkable condition for being 30 years old. It has never been restored. It is all original paint in interior. It has a new OME suspension lift 2.5 inches. Rides better then factory suspension. The dash cap needs replacing. They are 131 dollars. (Cruiser Corps) Driver seat has some wear in it. The paint has blemishes for sure but the best part is you know it is not hiding rust. Tires are in great condition 31x10.50 It could fit a 33 OCEAN SPRINGS Mississippi I was not able to upload pictures , so a friend added them to the thread below for me. . 1989 FJ62 - Bay Area
1989 FJ62 - $13,500 or will consider trade (and cash) for pickup or truck with third row (need to replace my wife’s Rav4). I’m in the Bay Area. Lifetime California truck, no accidents, clean title in hand and passed California smog recently. Approx 300k miles. I say approx as the speedo was changed a few years ago and a used one put in ( I have receipt for this). I’ve had it approx 2 years and it has run strong for me. Positives: - full OME suspension - knuckles rebuilt - new brakes including rotors etc. - new tie rods - transfer case rebuilt - new ignition, battery, coil etc - new tires - time up and fluids changed - new shifter bushings All work (except transfer case)...

Hey everyone. I’m shoppong for another Land Cruiser. Specifically a built 60 series. It should be sorted and run/drive well. Little to no rust. It should have good road manners and have a manual transmission. I like the feel/look of a SOA truck. Happy to travel for the right truck within a 12 hour drive of Washington DC. How built? Well, I’m flexible and curious to see what’s out there. I love the simplicity of the Toyota straight 6 but I’m not necessarily a purist! Diesel swap, ramjet, Vortec... sure! SOA - preferred! Built axles, swapped axles.. sounds good! Bumpers, sliders, borderline armored money truck.. what do you have!? 37+ inch tires (admittedly, mostly for looks! At least I’m honest about it!) I’m basically looking...
1988 Toyota FJ62 Land Cruiser
I can’t help but think that this is one of those moments that I will look back on and go “damn, I really shouldn’t have sold that thing” but for me, at this time, it’s the right move. Money is tight and the house needs work so it’s time to let my beloved hunk of Japanese steel go to a good home. I think I should start by saying that this car needs to go to someone who appreciates what it is and understands that it will need to be tinkered with on a semi regular basis. Anyone reading this right now who is looking for a maintenance free daily driver needs to close this tab right now and start searching craigslist for a Honda. This cruiser just turned 30 this year and has almost 214000 miles on the clock so if you think you’re going to...
1986 Toyota FJ60 Landcruiser
1986 Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser, 4x4, 2F Inline 6 Cylinder Gas motor with a 4 speed manual transmission. 162,500 miles. Clean and Clear AZ Title. Title is Box C, previous owner had entered the mileage incorrectly on the title when it was registered in 2009, I have checked the Carfax (which will be available with the sale of the vehicle) and the 162,500 is the correct mileage on the odometer. With a few pumps of the gas pedal on a cold Flagstaff morning, this Cruiser starts every time. Good interior, has a new dash cover and brand new Kenwood CD Player with USB and Auxiliary input. Heavy duty canvas Spectre Offroad seat covers, driver seat would need re-upholstered (see pic) if you were planning on running no seat covers. Otherwise no...
Too many projects and too little time. I started this project (and a few others) over the last several years, and then life happened. A few too many major life events (some good, some not so good) and then the realization my kids are only here for a couple more years and they are already supper slammed with sports (and I'm the coach for one) and all the other school activities. We finished two projects together and we are still working on a third. So I feel like I passed on the love of "builds" to them. I would definitely love to finish this one too, but realistically it's not going to happen any time soon. Selling my FJ60 project "beast". This LC has been in Southern California it's entire life and the beauty of the floor boards...

1985 Dune Beige FJ60
I have a 85 Dune Beige FJ60 that I would rather see sell whole than part it out since the body is in decent shape. The truck was taken into a shop by a previous owner for a diesel swap and was told they just took his money and truck apart. The dash is taken apart and two of the leaf springs need to be bolted back in. The truck has no engine or transmission in it. The body has some rust along the lower rear quarter panels and one spot on the passenger side rocker panel. Besides that the rest of the body is in good shape. The frame is in decent shape and will need metal work in the back before the rear bumper and a couple of other small spots. I will include a extra set of fenders, front bulkhead, rear hatch, and other Fj60 parts. I...
Hey dudes, Looking for some input on this potential buy. Hopefully I posted this in the right thread. I've been back and forth with the seller of this 83 on ebay, he's reassured me there is very minimal rust and drivetrain is good just needs some carb/motor work to get running (which I dont mind doing at all). Seller seems like a straight shooter, original owner, nice honest guy. Im wondering about the rust beneath the passenger side rear-most window (looks broken). I'm just looking for a cruiser that needs mechanical work and very little body work. Any input would be appreciated. Seems like an OK price but I have to have it shipped and that will add a lot to the price. Thanks Sean 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser | eBay
