hi, i live in colorado outside of colorado springs and am looking for an older fj40.
I have a 1966 Ford Mustang that really doesn't suit me here, it is sitting in my garage (2wd and 9500ft alt and snow just don't mix) so i am putting it up on the trading block.

the mustang is in really good shape, the interior is really nice, and the exterior is straight (paint could be better but it looks good)
it has a 289 2v, c4 automatic with console. it needs to be tuned up, came from south carolina, and needs tuneup. doesn't smoke or leak.
the front suspension has been replaced with independent front suspension from a mustang II kit, disc brakes all the way around.

I have a 2008 toller no fly zone handmade duck boat for sale. i ve hunted out of it this season and it is and all around great boat. Its 18 ft long and has a 51 inch bottom. It has a 2007 mudbuddy hd 4000 with 60 hours on it also i have installed a brand new big blade prop. Like i said this is a handmade boat with well over 160 man hours put into it. I am looking for a decent running / driving FJ40 that I can use around town here and there and work on in the evenings. I am selling my 74 fj40. Ijust bought it a few months ago and have to let it go already. Boo. It has a chevy 327 in it and runs good. 35 in tires, newwer soft top, hard top in good shape all good glass. Nearly completed FJ40 project cruiser for $3900 in Tacoma, Washington.
Has 2f engine, 4 speed transmission with a split transfer case, needs brakes completed, front driveline lengthened, misc items. Have most hardware. Inside and bottom of tub have been Rhino-lined. Frame has been sandblasted and painted. No rust, straight frame.
Hard top & windshield are off '79. All glass and seals are good. Great parts vehicle for your own landcruiser project. Would be a great parts vehicle, too. Will not separate.

This was a original barn find with 97k I bought about 6 mon. ago. here in colorado. I bought and built this truck to keep for a while hence all the money and time I put in it. Now we want a camper for dirt bike riding and snowboarding and I want to finish my built 80 series project. So here it is, It is the original 033 white still, 4.5" mafre safari lift, doestech shocks, stableizer, all new steering parts, complete front axle rebuild with marlin seals, 4:88's with ARB's front and rear, both shafts rebuilt and balanced. New 35x12.50 MTZ's on black rims. Near new aisin carb, intake/exh gasket, cap rotor,plugs wires etc... fj60 large dizzy upgrade. new interstate batt. valve adj, all new ehxaust and cat from manifold to tail pipe ($500)...

Up for sale is a 1978 BJ40 Right had Drive that i imported from Australia. My summer project's for sale, oil price is down and I need something to keep me busy. This vehicle runs and drives very nice, has around 77k, 4 speed, Bill Dorry power steering, everything replaced inside and out, correct colors, styles, and patterns. Had some rust, cut/weld new pieces, with accompanying body work as necessary. Previous owner removed smog, but she runs great and has the original carb. Interior of tub was lined, I did not replace the rear floor and inner fenders, but rather replaced the rusty areas in the interest of keeping the retail cost down. I started a thread a while back looking for a 40. Well its time. I have $3,500 max to spend. Again, Would like a 74 to 78 but will consider older ones.
Location: Memphis, TN but will drive roughly 6 hours in any direction.
Pickup Means: I will bring a trailer to take the rig home.
Use: Off road, not an extreme crawler by any means but will be used on larger rock trails and hopefully never come close to lots of mud.
Wanted condition: I will use this thing off road and have no plans on restoring the body to 100% but don't wont a rust bucket either, must have solid frame. Engine can either be a 2f or conversion but needs to be sound. Something that will get me from the trailer, through the trails, and back without falling apart or...
