1980 FJ40 located in MI $3500 OBO ***SOLD***
I've got a 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40 that I just don't have time for anymore. It runs very well and is basically a very solid truck but is definitely suited more to trail running than restoration (Curse you MI winters). I have three cars, and recently got a promotion that has limited my free time substantially and something needs to go.
Asking $3500 OBO. Also willing to trade for touring kayak/kayaks or possibly a motorcycle.
Stats:
1980 Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser
~106,000 miles
In-line, 6 cylinder original engine
Manual Transmission
New Shocks
New Shackles, Pins, and Bushings
New ball joints
New Radiator
New Muffler and Cat.
New Road Tires
Extra Water pump
Hard top with Ambulance Doors
Safari Top
Winch (needs to be mounted, but is included)
Mud Tires (decent condition, yours if you want them)
*Problem areas*
The tub is pretty rusted, I have a new rear sil, but never got around to putting it on. I do have the spare tire hook from the rusted sil, so the parts are all there.
The truck was also desmogged. I've never had any problems with compression, but none of the smog equipment is with the vehicle. I plugged the rail ports with high temp bolts and have had zero problems with it
PM me with any questions or to arrange a time to come see/test drive it.
Pictures show it with the hardtop removed, but it comes with the hard top with rear ambulance doors as well as a Safari Top for summer.
