I'm looking for a clean FJ60 or 62 to be used as a daily driver/ light off roading/ hunting on the weekends.
I already have a FJ40 that I use in the summer, and I figured why not make all of my vehicles cruisers. I've been hanging out with Cruisified for his build and he has me convinced I need one.
My criteria:
Little or no rust FJ60 or FJ62
Under 180,000 miles
Rides nice, has strong motor, transmission, breaks etc
I would prefer a manual
Decent interior
I already have tires and intend on fabing up my own bumpers with Cruisified. Not a big deal if the paint is not perfect, as I might paint it myself.
I wouldn't say I'm in a huge hurry, as I already have a daily driver and will be driving the FJ40 this...

Up for sale is my much beloved fj60 toyota landcruiser. This truck has been with me for many years, it has always been totally reliable and a strong runner. While not in perfect condition it is in great shape for a vehicle that is over 20 years old. She is very comfy for long road trips, skiing, surfing, lots of room for gear, bench seats for packing in your friends. It drives very well on the freeway, very smooth and predictable, with the great tires and plenty of clearance she has no problem taking you to the far-away corners of any state you choose. She has always had scheduled maintenance performed by my local mechanic, all replacement parts have been OEM toyota when needed.

Selling my 88 fj62 in chesterfield VA.. It is automatic with all power options and everything works.It has a 8 year old cheap paint job but could use a good cleaning.There is a tiny bit of rust on the top around the drip rail near the back but it's the size of a nailhead.It has fuel injection and the engine runs and the trans and 4 wheel drive works great.It is all stock and waiting for the right person to drive it home.The front and rear bimpers have a little ruct but will still be useable.pics will be posted tonight. asking 4000.00 obo

Its 99.5% Rust free. And very straight. Comes with better front seats (same appolstry). The interior is in AWESOME shape as well.

I have a 1983 FJ60 for sale. I was working on it when my neighbor backed into the drivers door. I was gathering up the parts to replace the grill. Which I have most of the parts. I have a fairly decent grill to put into it and decent light doors to go on it. The paint needs to be done and I was working on the interior of the Cruiser. The cruiser runs good and has a new exhaust on it with a new cat. There are new tires on it as well. I bought new u-joints for the front drive shaft, but have not put it together yet. I also bought new front drive shaft bolts from CruiserDan, along with a new thermostat. The glass on the Cruiser is good. Runs, drives, and seems like everything works? 4-Speed? 4-Door, Tailgate works, so does rear hatch shocks (wow).
Does have body damage (see pictures). Has a dent front right fender, front of hood, right rear quarter, and right rear door (not to bad). I only saw one place that had rust on the right top (see pic).
No power options, just roll them up windows by crank! Rear hatch does stay up, doors open good, goes back and forth, seems like the 4x4 crank case is working.
looks like there is a missing belt that goes to the power steering, a/c, and smog pump thingy (seems smog pump is locked up?). Also, the radiator needs water, or maybe has a leak?

*******SOLD************** I decided to fix up my 40, so I'm getting rid of my 60. It runs and drives. Has a vibration over 55, I think it needs new shocks. Power steering gear box leaks, the clutch makes a funny noise. Ac blows but needs recharge?? Cruise control holds up to 55, not sure how to adjust it.
The dash has some cracks. The front interior looks ok, there are a few tears or small holes in the ds seat. The rear seats look good, there may be a small tear in them, but I can’t remember right off. The carpet in the cargo area is pulling up and tearing. The headliner looks awesome. Looks like the PO had a small cb antenna ran above the glove box on top of the truck. I assume they replaced the headliner. The CD player won’t play...
Want something solid, and almost complete especially when it comes to drivetrain (not engine specific) and exterior. Interior problems are no big deal. I dont mind paying extra if it is worth it. Not really interested in a jacked up trail rig, but am more inclined to find a dd. It is white exterior, previous owner had it painted, originally it was blue. Interior is completely rhino lined from floor to roof. I have used this vehicle as a daily driver mostly. It needs a new oil pan gasket, rear main seal, probably could use a carb rebuild, and possibly a manifold gasket. I am located in Northern Colorado.

I'd like to get rid of a very high miles '85 FJ60 (from Arizona) that I bought as a parts truck for my '87 and my father's '83. We've gotten all the parts off it that we needed (mostly front body panels and rear quarter panels). I'm planning to have a local salvage yard come pick it up but thought I'd offer it to anyone that wants it on MUD first. I'm willing to consider parting it out but would prefer someone just take the whole thing. It has a complete drivetrain but will not go anywhere under its own power. All four tires hold air and it can be pulled away, loaded on a trailer, etc. There are plenty of salvageable parts on it. Here is a list of the major items:

88 FJ62 Deer Damaged in AR, 1000 bucks SOLD
SOLDFj62 Wagon 4x4, champagne in color, brown/tan interior. This truck was a work in progress and my daily driver before I hit the deer. Approx 180,000 miles on the ODO which no longer works, I'd say it has 200K. Motor is good and burns no oil. Tranny is good. No frame rot, rust is extremely minimal on the body, if at all. AC works, as do the power mirrors and windows. Original chrome wheels sitting on around 800 dollars worth of like new ProComp 31x10.50 tires. There is a additional vacuum pump installed I assume to give better braking or other uses. it also means you can ditch the BJ Alternator in favor of a more modern higher amperage unit.
