1983 BJ60 Diesel 5spd H55, $2000

336K km, 210K miles for my US brothers, Green,

5spd H55, power steering,

Frame OK, body rough, interior ok but not good.

There is a additional vacuum pump installed I assume to give better braking or other uses. it also means you can ditch the BJ Alternator in favor of a more modern higher amperage unit.

4X4 works, Aisin hubs, 3.73 rear gears,

seats are from another type of vehicle but I dont know which. The bullbar shown in pics is going on my hj.

Windshield is cracked.

Local sale prefered, but i will assist with shipping if you are very serious about it.

EDIC is disconnected. Clutch needs to be bled, Same with brakes.

Engine runs great, it starts instantly even after sitting for years, Ive owned it about 5 months, but never really driven it.

I purchased it to restore but am loosing my job so its got to go.

Frame is ok, serviceable for years, not perfect.

Its rough, but saveable if you are inclined, othewise i Suggest swapping the excellent and economical drivetrain into a southern truck.

It has a sunroof. which doesn't appear to leak.

Ill also include a undented hood, and some body parts, and 4.11 gears if desired.

to restore it(to decent daily driver status)(not show winner) will basically cost me about $1000, I have a perfect blue interior, Gozzard flares will take care of the wheel wells,
I can do the body and paint myself for about $50,

I have all the spare brakes from a hj60 that i parted,

So I could restore it for about 1 grand,

Being Layed off in August, I will not be restoreing this truck, I have already Saved 2 landcruisers from the wreckers, and i have one more HJ60 to save,

I would very much like to see this vehicle sold, I will deliver it to sarnia, or windsor, for 2K total.

This is a great drivetrain.
