Has anyone here added a longer third brake light above the rear glass on an 80 Series?
I’m thinking about doing something similar to the setup in this reference photo. I know the factory 80 Series third brake light is much shorter, and I’ve seen some universal LED bars around 36", but I’m worried that might be a little too long and cover almost the whole top of the glass.
I haven’t been able to find many real-world reference photos online of 80 Series trucks with this kind of brake light setup, so I’m curious if anyone here has done it.
What length did you end up using? 24", 30", 36", or something else? And do you have any photos of how it looks installed?
