Chevy 350 with quadrajet carb.

My trusty old fj62 has to go. Been sitting for a year. bfg at 31x10.5xr15 with approx 50% tread left. Not worth fixing up but plenty of useful parts.

I spray painted my mirrors black but they still work, drivers side morror shakes so its hard to see anything, may be fixable?

The usual question and the best answer: the usual rust spots in the rear quarters has been professionally cut out, replaced with steel, treated, and repainted. In fact, I had the entire vehicle repainted while I was at it in the original grey. Gutters properly and professionally redone to prevent leaks. (11/08)

replaced: clutch master cyl, thermostat, PCV valve, reinstated emissions, new cat, cat back exhaust, TREs, steering stabilizer, rebuilt knuckles with all seals and bearings. Gutted carpet to reveal rust, began repairing rust. Has two sizable, holes at the joints by both doors, and general, but treatable rust all around. rebuilt carb, new oil pan gasket, put in a rebuilt power steering pump, but it needs replaced again. 88 Toyota Land Cruiser
I went and checked this rig out today. Body is pretty much straight... a little work has been done and is starting to fail near the right tail light. Some rust on lower lift gate. 310k. Guy seems honest, has done a little work on it. Engine blew white smoke at start-up (though it went away) and it sounded a bit like a diesel... valves are pretty bad... The transmission and t-case looked to have been recently replaced. Overall, not a bad deal, just not what i was hoping to find.
if you have a low mile 3fe, this might be a good rig to put it in.

I bought it with the intention of building it, but have decided to start with a stocker instead and do a spring over. Its pretty clean, but does have some rust typical in the rear wheel wells and a couple other places. Frame is in great condition. No rust on the frame at all.
The lift is a 4" Alcan, but its a lighter duty spring set that yielded around 3" of lift. Interior has some 2nd generation 4runner seats installed that are clean, and very comfortable. The engine needs an intake/exhaust manifold gasket, but I have chased down all...

Interested in buying either a fj62 or fj60, fj80, 1993-1994 fzj80. Although fj62 would be my definite first choice.
Want it to have original engine, transmission, transfer case. Prefer one that Has high-er miles but that has been well taken care of. Want one that has been driven regularly than something that has sat on and off.
Original owner + maintenance records would be a huge plus.
Really do not want it to have any rust.
Like it to be stock or have a few accessories. Not looking for a rock crawler. For the 80's, I do not care if it has lockers or not.
Can have minor issues but want the major drive line components to be in good shape.
Really looking for a truck that has been daily driven and taken care...
