I have a 1983 FJ60 for sale. I was working on it when my neighbor backed into the drivers door. I was gathering up the parts to replace the grill. Which I have most of the parts. I have a fairly decent grill to put into it and decent light doors to go on it. The paint needs to be done and I was working on the interior of the Cruiser. The cruiser runs good and has a new exhaust on it with a new cat. There are new tires on it as well. I bought new u-joints for the front drive shaft, but have not put it together yet. I also bought new front drive shaft bolts from CruiserDan, along with a new thermostat. The glass on the Cruiser is good. I have owned it for over a year now and I love it but I recently bought a FJ80, so I don't need it. Plus I am trying to get PCS orders out of Fort Gordon, and won't be able to take it with me. I also need to come up with some money so I can buy my wife a new Subaru. I currently don't have recent pictures of the vehicle but I will try to go over tomorrow to get some. Oh, The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner. I talked to the PO mechanic when I bought it and he said he did the work. There is a recent alternator on it. The engine runs a little rich. I have driven it from Atlanta to Fort Stewart (when I was stationed there) and then to Fort Gordon. I used to drive it to work all the time, (when I did not drive my bike). I average 11.49 miles to the gallon and once in a while I would get 14 when I was not trying to go fast on the freeways. It would get better gas mileage if the carberator was tweaked. Carburators have always made me nervous to work on. I was going to replace the rear panels in the storage area with plywood but I have not been able to. For awhile I did not have the money to fix it like I wanted too, due to PCS'n to fort gordon and buying a house just killed me working on it for awhile. To the lucky buyer I will include the all the parts that I have acquired for the Cruiser. Please email me, PM me or Call. My email is jason.murrell@us.army.mil phone number is 406-451-2232 I am ASKING $1300 FOR IT OR BEST OFFER. Thanks for looking. Jason

I will get pictures, I am currently at BNCOC at Fort Gordon Georgia. Even though I am stationed here they are a pain in the behind. I am going to go over to my friends house tomorrow and get up to date pictures. I will also have the pictures for emails and everyone Who wants them.

P.S. I am sorry to have mentioned earlier, but I forgot. Here in Georgia Pre-1986 vehicles are NOT required to have a title. But YOUR State may allow you to re-title the vehicle. I know Montana will allow it. I am sorry if this Causes an inconvenience to anyone.

P.S.S. I will also have tomorrow pictures of all the parts I have bought for it too.
Thanks For Looking, Jason

I got the pictures, now I just have to figure out how to shrink them to fit on IH8MUD. I you want my to email pictures I can. Also I can get pictures of all the parts I have that need to be installed. Jason

Here are some pics, Please note it looked better before I started to work on it. I started to sand down areas to remover excess paint layers so I can make it look a little better. The grill and light doors, well I have replacements that are not broken just need a couple of parts to be able to place them into the landcruiser. I am using toyota oem parts from the toyota dealer here in augusta that is out of business.
P.S. The inside of the drivers door is off and in my garage at the moment.

Well, I sold it yesterday. As you know Murphy's Law was in full affect yesterday too. I drove it around and I had no problem. We the buyer came and looked at it. It decided it did not want to be sold, a soft plug on the front of the engine decided to leak oil like someone shot in a major artery. Man that just made my day. Well the good news is that the buyer called someone he knew at Atlanta Custom Creations and said that it could be fixed pretty easily. Well, I lowered the price to help offset the price to fix the plug. I had to let it go. So I am very thankful that he still wanted it after the major bleeding happening. I hope that he enjoys the Cruiser.
