88 FJ62 Deer Damaged in AR, 1000 bucks SOLD

SOLD[STRIKE]Fj62 Wagon 4x4, champagne in color, brown/tan interior. This truck was a work in progress and my daily driver before I hit the deer. Approx 180,000 miles on the ODO which no longer works, I'd say it has 200K. Motor is good and burns no oil. Tranny is good. No frame rot, rust is extremely minimal on the body, if at all. AC works, as do the power mirrors and windows. Original chrome wheels sitting on around 800 dollars worth of like new ProComp 31x10.50 tires. Still runs and drives, although it has front end body damage, with only passenger side headlights. Front bumper is bent, driver side fender, grill is gone, and the lower valence is bent. I think the hood is pretty straight. No damage to the glass. No frame damage, it pushed the radiator in a bit and bent the mounts and shroud. Radiator is still fine, the mounts are tweaked though. Just before the wreck I did the following work: New Radiator, flushed the heater core, New fuel pulsation dampener, and fuel pressure regulator, new interstate battery and stainless hold down bracket, rebuilt the rear brakes, new Bosch alternator and other things I cannot remember. It sputters now, and runs a bit rough, but I believe it is an air hose intake leak...Anyway even in it's present sad condition it is a bargain at $1000 You can see photos of her before AND after the wreck here :

That will give you an idea of how solid the truck is before the wreck. Email me at csmay@centurytel.net No personal message replies please.[/STRIKE]

Bump for a serious bargain. Here is a running driving truck for parts or work, or a project.

Too bad you are so far away. It looks like some fresh paint in some of the rust suspect areas. Can you tell the story there? How drivable is it? 3000 miles drivable?

No story to tell. Where there was rust around the wheelwells, the previous owner did the repair and there is a bit of bondo and primer, but no "fresh paint".

Anyway moot point, it sold this morning. :D
