Did you try asking your local LC club? Surely they could help at least locate a welder, if not hook you up.

Not really, Ive been trying to get a group going.
But I mean more shopping for a used mig welder, so I can do it.

I love an excuse to buy a new tool

Yeah, the South Sound club has faded and there is life being put into it, just a little difficult till we get people back on board.

V, I know a guy that welds but he does custom chassis and one off mostly. I can ask, just need to know what it is you want done. If you end up picking up a welder, I know a guy that has been eyeing the NWTI front bumper and could be your guinea pig for practices welding.

Just had a thought, I think @PNWGERMAN may weld and he is local to us.

Last night I got all 7 soft brake lines swapped to extended/braided new ones.
Went to do a brake bleed this morning with a HF vacuum bleeder and I could not get it to bleed properly and I have zero brake pressure. So I ordered a pressure bleeder since this seems to be what most ppl are using this day.
But, as I was walking out the garage I saw a small puddle of brake fluid on the ground.
So I might have more problems

Tightening a loose line fitting and the pressure bleeder did the trick!
Back to having brakes!

Finally got time to install the new wheels
First time installing beadlocks, it went easier than I thought, but boy there is a lot of bolts!
And now my 35s look smaller

Another drive on 410 over to Yakima and back via I-90
The 80 did good and worst temp I saw was about 205 for a brief period in the worse part of the drive with 4 ppl inside!
But boy it was a slow climb.
And surprisingly 21.386 gallons and 271.3 miles for a shocking 12.68mpg
