My glove box is currently kept from falling open by a few zip ties strung together - the latch works, but when opened, whatever part was supposed to keep the door from falling open is missing. What is supposed to be there?

Do you mean the metal terminals inside the connector housing or the rubber seals on the rear of the connector housings? Neither are available from Toyota. However, Ballenger has terminals: I'd recommend the terminal crimper, it's a single use...
