I am going to be listing my beloved FJ62. I bought this rig off BAT in December 2021 and have loved it since the day I got it. My family is growing, and I need to get something a little more family friendly. Ideally a 200 series. This truck is built, bumper to bumper.
This Cruiser started out in California, then shipped to Arizona where Desert Toy Shop completed the build.
It was shipped from AZ to Texas, and while owning, I relocated for work and had it shipped to GA.

I'm the second owner and it has been in western Colorado near Aspen its entire life except for a brief time in California while the original owner's son had it in college.

I’m listing my 1987 fj60 landcruiser project for sale as is. There’s a vacuum leak somewhere either in the gasket inbetween the manifold and head or the j- pipe. Maybe both. We’ve tried a second manifold gasket and a different j-pipe. I’m out of patience and have another project lined up. I’m asking $11k. If I don’t get any takers, eventually I’ll get to it and get it running. It’s rust free. Has some sheet metal damage on the fenders. Previous owner said the doors were left open in a wind storm. Selling my rig to fund some other projects, rig runs really good I have traveled a few 400 mile trips on Interstate 10 where the speed limit is 85 and she handles that speed just fine except it's kinda noisy (needs sound dampening mats), exterior paint is fading in some spots and clear coat is wearing off, "NO RUST ROT" anywhere on this rig, AC needs to be converted to R134, the engine is bone stock no mods, not desmogged, interior could be use some TLC but she's no garage queen I daily drive it, it has a sunroof which i disconnected but this was professionally installed...anyways my price is $11,500.00 (more picks upon request if interested)

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm listing my beloved FJ62 for sale. My wife and I are building a house, and so it's time to thin the herd. I went pretty deep in trying to restore this car over the past several years, and it's the best vehicle I've ever owned. Everything on the vehicle works perfectly, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a road trip immediately. The only "issues" that I know of are a small crack in the dash, and the center console does not have a lid. 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62. 189,600 miles. (low miles...approx. 5400 miles a year)
Original, well taken care of since new. Adult owned. Excellent condition. Runs and drives very well. All original interior, seats and carpet, dash cover protects original dash-excellent condition. Everything works like it should including air conditioning, heat, 4wd, original radio w/tape deck, original speakers, and power antennae and cruise control. Original glass all the way around except for windshield. Rare manual roll up windows all work. No modifications, and was not used for towing.

Original owner had the car until just under 267K miles. Widow sold to a guy in WA. He drove it from Sparks, NV to Tacoma, WA. I purchased 12/2015 and drove it from Tacoma, WA to Los Angeles, CA.
I have a stack of maintenance receipts from 12/1998 to 2/2015 from the original owner. Like clockwork, this couple had the oil changed and tires rotated every 3,000 miles. If you would like to see a summary of maintenance with shop name, date, and mileage, just let me know. Since I have owned it, I have continued with proper maintenance.

Tan 1987 FJ60 206k miles new carpet, paint, radiator, and engine gaskets. Seats are in great shape with Carhartt seat covers. No rust…a/c just charged and blows cold.

I originally posted my FJ62 for sale back in the fall. I had great response and met some fantastic folks here. Because of the many things life throws at us and winter quickly approaching, I decided to remove it from the forum and being for sale. Unfortunately, ih8mud does not have an option for removing ads… so I just let it fad away. Now that spring is here and I was able to have quite a bit of maintenance done, I am again putting this cruiser up for sale.

Prefer good condition, no large cavities (on left side) and I don't need the fabric cover or the springs. I have an SOR high density replacement foam currently in place and I'm not a fan.

For sale is my 1986 Toyota HJ60. It has the 2H diesel, 5 speed manual transmission, and of course 4x4. It’s registered in Washington State and located in Goldendale, WA. I imported it from Canada myself, and have since spent a ton of money on it. If I keep it, I’m going to keep spending tons more money on it to make it even more badass. It was an itch I had to scratch by getting a Cruiser, but at this point I think I’ll just sell it and get myself a new or newish Tacoma.

Come to the realization that with a house remodel starting as well as a 1965 Rover project I just don't have the capacity to have this project on my hands at this point. Hasn't been driven for almost 2 years and it needs a new home.
Since I got it I've replaced the gas tank and a few other minor repairs / maintenance things but it runs fantastically.

1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 - Rebuilt
Wanting $10,000, firm. Sitting at roughly 292,000 miles. Bought at roughly 284,000 miles, then rebuilt engine. Was my daily driver since rebuilding for about 6 months, and has been on one off-roading trip. Runs and drives great on and off road. Was hoping to do a little more aesthetic work to this awesome rig, but my wife is not in favor of keeping it any longer. She isn't a fan of the MPG or the lack of modern safety features.
