I'm building a new 1FZ-FE cylinder head. I need to press in new unions for the no. 1 water bypass hose and the PHH.
I don't see anything in FSM regarding adhesive for these. I assume they would require some type of thread locker adhesive. Or are they just pressed in?
The spark plug tubes require Three Bond 1324 (red Loctite271). Same for these? or something with a higher temp rating?
Lame question, I know, but I've got one shot of tapping these in fully without screwing up a new head.
