Barn Find 1987 FJ60
Found in my Barn :). Believe it has 230,000 miles I've been too busy to get to any of my cruisers, will be selling this one and the under 100,000 mile tl lx450. I haven't cleaned it up yet. There is no rust on this bad boy, frame is beautiful. Comes with a new Toyota H55F with shifter and other accessories I purchased to do the swap. I DD'd this for a while, its a slow beast without the 5spd. Turns heads. I'll get more info on it and get some cleaner pictures. $17,000. Located in Humansville, MO, 65613.
I sold my white 87, and am now on the hunt for a 60 in my preferred color. Considering all 60s in Red, Brown (-84 chocolate preferred), Blue (any), or Tan. I might consider other colors but do not want another white 60. Original paint preferred but will also consider repaints in same color. No color changes please. Any rust/mechanical condition, only requirement is frame needs to be solid. Brown interior preferred, any condition. Budget is 5k-20k
For Sale 1990 FJ62 Chicago
I hate to have to do it, but I'm putting my 1990 LC up for sale. I purchased it in 2018 from Jason at CruiserYard @arcteryx and planned on keeping forever, so I made sure it was very clean. I previously has a 1966 Land Rover Series IIa that my wife and I missed, so I figured one this arrived with modern conveniences like power steering and brakes, AC and even power windows, she'd be thrilled. Not so much as she's apparently grown soft over the years :p I now have two teen drivers, one of whom is taking one of our two daily drivers to school with him, and the wife is insisting that I get something that has all the modern safety features for the other, so just can't afford to keep the LC as a nice weather extra and it's too nice to...
St. Louis, MO: 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 GX
Frame off build for the prior owner by Cruiser Creations. Have receipts for over $58,000 invested into the build. It is the marriage of an FJ60 (front end and interior) and FJ62 (frame, tub, etc). If they had built it with a GM E-Rod crate motor, this would probably be a $58,000 wagon. They opted for the GM HO 350 crate, so that has an impact on the market. The guy I bought it from was a Seahawk's fan, so that's where the neon green highlights come from. I replaced the mirrors and the vent covers. The hood has a custom cut flat black industrial quality 3M vinyl sticker over the green. Looks great. Looking for $20,000 OBO. Not in a hurry to sell. Full transparency: I haven't sold many cars and certainly never something like this. I'm...
1984 FJ60, Dallas-Ft Worth TX
1984 Toyota LandCruiser FJ60 I have owned this FJ60 since 2009, bought in the Austin area. I believe it was a California truck before that. Clean Texas title in my name in hand. 212,000 miles, 2F, 4 speed. Engine was rebuilt including new crank, 10 years ago by Butch Baker (local 2F whisperer). Tagged and current safety inspection sticker—due this month, will pass inspection. Work done: Desmogged (2018) Sniper EFI (2023) LRA 40 gallon fuel tank w/internal pump (2023) 4” lift with Manafre shackle reversal, 2” Dobinson’s springs, Dobinson’s MRR adjustable shocks. (2022) x5 Wheelsmith custom 17x8 wheels w/ 3.25” backspacing (2022) x5 Yokohama Geolander MT G003 tires, 285/75/17s (2022) Redhead steering gearbox and new TREs (2023)...
Fort Collins: 1986 FJ60 Project Non-runner
290K original miles. 4-speed manual transmission. 4WD with manual locking hubs. Purchased in 1990 from the original owner. Daily driver for well over 20 years in California and then Colorado. No accidents. Engine ran low on oil and developed a rod knock when under load. However, engine did not seize up. Have not started for two years. Paint and interior in relatively good condition. Minimal body rust. Frame rock solid. No aggressive 4WD-ing. All original parts except for sound system. Blue painted over white original. Old Man Emu shocks. Car has incredible heart, but we don’t have what it takes to bring him back! Would seriously consider trade with cash for a running FJ60 with lower mileage. Asking $3,800.
Hi all, I'm in the market for an FJ62 with EFI or a BJ60/HJ60. I'm located in the PNW area in Bellingham WA but willing to travel down the west coast for the right car that can make the drive back up. Nice to haves: - ~250k miles max - Any color would be fine - Manual preferred - No rust - Turn-key/non project My budget is ~$20k Thanks!
Hello mudders, I’ve lost my new Tacoma to a deer, and I’m looking to get back into a cruiser of some sort. I’ve already put up one of these in the 80 and 100 classfield, but I wouldn’t mind a decent 60/62 to putt around in. I’d really prefer a 62, but a 60 with an efi conversion would be considered too. I’d like to find one relatively local to Morristown, TN if possible. It would have to be a manual transmission, and not have any significant rust, but other than that I’m open to checking it out. I’m looking to spend $10,000-$11,000 or so, if you’ve got something feel free to PM me any time!
1989 Landcruiser FJ62 Loveland Colorado LOW MILES $13,000
Rare opportunity to own a low mile FJ62. Minimal body rust, frame is solid. Runs and drives good. Some would say it needs a paint job while others enjoy the fading and patina. I just had it on a 600 mile trip and it got 16.2 miles per gallon, she cruises at 75 miles an hour with all the gauges happy. 4 hi and 4 low work great, manual hubs. located in Loveland Colorado, $13,000. You could fly out from Florida and drive it right on home.
North Carolina- 1985 FJ60 Holley EFI 183k miles.
After much debate I’ve decided it’s time to sell my 1985 FJ60. Purchased at 179k and it’s currently at 183,267k. I’ve had it for almost 4 years now and bought it as a project truck that I would slowly build. Just don’t have the time and money to keep going. I don’t use it like I should and it sits more then it gets driven which is a shame. It’s still a ways off from what I had envisioned for it but it starts right up and runs smooth and strong. I’ll start with a list of mods and upgrades I’ve done. -Did a Holley sniper EFI swap about a year ago. It’s amazing. -Desmogged and Cat delete. -Jt outfitters headers and 2.5” tubing with magnaflow muffler. -DUI distributor -OME medium duty lift kit -Soundproofed and new carpet. -Gobi...

West Virginia - 1986 FJ60
1986 Toyota FJ60 in 8B2 Blue with 174,400 miles currently. I purchased this out of Pennsylvania as a project and have since put a lot of time and parts into getting this back into somewhat of its original glory. Being an east coast vehicle it certainly wasn’t spared from salt and corrosion but I’ve addressed most of the issues as detailed below. I’ve been daily driving this to work every day for the last 3 months without any issues. It has been desmogged using the Jim C components. - Gas tank was removed, cleaned, and resealed. It was also externally coated in POR15. The sending unit and pick-up assembly and associated gaskets were replaced with new, OEM units. - The notorious C-channel rust was removed and replaced with the Trail...

I have been looking for a clean (rust free) FJ 62 or silver 60 for some time and can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. Figured I’d see if anyone was on the fence about selling. Would prefer mostly stock/original and under 200k miles. My price range is ~$20-30k depending on the condition and miles. I plan on making this a fun little project vehicle that I could tinker on/upgrade over time and would use for my short commute to work on nice days and trips to the mountains or the beach. No major off roading/wheeling so I don’t want a heavily modified truck with bumpers, racks and winches. Here are my specific demands—Yes I know I’m a picky, but if I’m gonna spend the money these go for then I may as well find the one I’d be...
SoCal 1985 FJ60, 287k - Engine Rebuilt at 223k
Had a good run with the current rig but sadly it needs to go to make room for another project. It is in relatively good shape (just passed CA SMOG, again). Has 287k miles but the engine was yanked and rebuilt in 1999 at 223k miles. I have put a decent bit of work into this thing over the last 12 years - new/rebuilt carb, intake manifold, intake filter housing, smog pump, vacuum line redo (several new valves/switches too), and EGR J-pipe and rail as well as distributor/ignition coil, and carb fan. Has a Gobi stealth rack with spare tire and Hi Lift mount. Full size spare (new Coop AT3) and I can throw in the black Hi Lift too. The PO went through it in about 2008 and did an interior reupholster, center console, new steering wheel...
