Video Walkthrough I made for a potential buyer
I bought this truck on Oahu in 2020 but this Land Cruiser was originally purchased new in Kona. The original owner kept paper work of the service that was done and he must have not driven it very much. One of the pervious owner de-smogged it and changed the carburetor to a Holley. When they did this they also pulled the AC out. PO did a bondo job on the gutters and tinted the windows, all legal. Passed safety a few month ago.
The Land Cruiser has 119,27X original miles and it runs really well. It has a 2F engine, inline 6 4.2L with 4 speed transmission.
It has been my daily driver and have never had an issue the entire time I’ve owned it.
I love this truck but the family is growing and I can’t see myself putting the time and money into getting it deserves.
What I have done to the truck;
-new Holley carb (2022)
-valves adjusted (2021)
-new distributor cap (2021)
-new spark plugs and wires (2021)
-replaced belts (2021)
-changed wheels and tires w/spare (2021)
-new brakes, front and back (2021)
-rebuilt the steering knuckles (2021)
-replaced steering dampener (2021)
-installed a dual battery system
-replaced headlight Dapper
-installed aux/fog lights from Light Force
-Wet Okole seat covers for the front seats.
-replaced the carpet throughout (2021)
-installed rear 3-point seat belts in the rear
-replaced visors with FJ70 ones
-installed Bluetooth radio receiver
-changed exterior bulbs to LED and relay for normal flash rate
-new Borla exhaust (2021)
-probably more things I don’t remember
What needs to be done to the truck;
-it needs bodywork gutters are in bad shape but doesn't leak inside
-new suspension
-new fan clutch and water pump, pump works fine but the clutch doesn’t clutch and its best to replace them both at the same time.
-new window regulators
-small 4x4 trans leak, no noticeable drop in fluid level
-few odds and ends here and there
