Selling my 1988 FJ62. It is modified and ready to roll. Bought the vehicle a few years ago with the intention of building a family-friendly off road vehicle. Most of the work was done by the PO, but I decided to do an LS swap. Unfortunately, I've lost interest in it.

I've been trying to make the time and space to put parts in this dang truck for three years, now, and it just ain't happenin' and I'm ready to lose out on all the untapped potential to know somebody is actually gonna finish it and drive it. I’m selling my 1986 HJ60 Land Cruiser.
It’s a Canadian domestic market cruiser that I imported myself a few years ago. Clean and clear Washington title in my name.
Since it’s North American market it is left hand drive and has an H55, 5 speed manual transmission. It’s 24 volt and has no electrical problems.
Frame and body are in pretty good shape. The frame is surprisingly solid for being a Canadian cruiser. The body has some rust here and there, but not in the fenders where these things usually get destroyed. The previous owner was a Swiss national that had both rear quarter panels and a front fender replaced at some point. They look good.

I picked this 60 up outside of Knoxville when I moved to NC, but job is taking me back west, so looking to pass it along.
Drivetrain: 350 carbureted engine. Starts and runs great. No mechanical issues. H55f trans and stock transfer case. Shackle reversal. Needs rear OME springs installed (included). Rides on 35x12.50 bfg all terrains. Plenty of tread, but some cracking in the rubber.
Interior: no rips or tears in the seats or carpet. Dash is warped. No stereo. I recently replaced the blower motor. Console is in great shape. All glass, locks, gauges, etc are in good shape.

H55 transmission shifts fine - I’ve cycled through the gears without issues - however both the fill and drain plugs need to be replaced - both are stripped.
3b pulls nicely- turbo spools quickly at low rpm
Unknown compression numbers - I don’t have a way to check. But starts up and idles without issue. Can provide cold start video.
Has a home brew Intercooler setup, I was going to remove it - have the original piping. It does work though.

When I originally obtained the truck it was running/driving, had a clean interior, and was partially spring over axle converted on 35’s. I wanted to daily the vehicle so I rebuilt a stock front axle, dropped it down to a 2” OME lift and accompanying suspension. Since I am in Denver and have to get smog tested (the engine had been de-smogged) so I decided to do a “2FE”conversion since that’s the only legal way to fuel inject a “2F” engine. I obtained a running 3FE engine...
