Yeah, on the Taco.

3/8"-3/4" I'm not here to tell you, not gonna be responsible, but I wanted to show you my setup and the end result over the years so you can have an idea what you want to do.

I was planning on putting some kind of cushion in there. So if it did move it would have that resistance up against the rocker. Just never got around to it. :/

Absolutely, triangulating tubes from top and bottom of frame mountings would be strong and pretty to look at but given the small space and avoiding mud build up a simple plate gusset welded on the vertical is more than sufficient.

In my case I wonder if the small amount of deflection I get is as much frame twist as anything else

Guess I’ll make a quick post since we’re nearly through September.
Straightening of the hood is as done as I’m going to get. Pics don’t really do any justice, so I’ll just hold off until there’s some paint on it.

Went ahead and made my own 5/8” U-bolts for the sliders.
