1986 FJ60 - Clean (Indianapolis)
I purchased this rig in August 16' from a fellow MUD member. It is a southern truck; originally Texas, then North Carolina, to South Carolina... then to me in Indiana. In the three years I have owned, it has been garaged and only been driven on nice days (no ice/ snow/ salt). It had 260,000 miles when purchased and is coming up on 264,000. This cruiser was built by WHG423 and followed by many on this site. For transparency, I will include WHG423's posting and build archive. Please see links, below. The details included are better (and more revealing) than I could provide. Note: When I see other cruisers up close, I am reminded of how nice this truck is and the quality work (and love) that WHG423 put into the build. It does not...
Kalispell, MT: 1985 HJ60, JDM RHD 2H
(Sale Pending) Priced to sell as my situation has changed. About to relocate and don’t have the time to begin a full rebuild or time to part it out; I could make far more than asking price even if I parted it but I hope someone wants a new project. I imported this truck from Japan 5 years ago. 1985 HJ60 RHD 2H Diesel; 360k on the clock. There’s plenty of rust on the body but all is fixable during a full build. Under carriage is all surface rust except the exhaust system. Interior is very clean. The passengers side rear door needs to be replaced and I have the spare door which will come with the truck. The 2H needs to be refreshed; gaskets, seals, etc. Has a click from the injection system as all the injectors need to be rebuilt and/or...
Fort Bragg, NC: 1988/Toyota/HJ61
My 1988 HJ61 is up for sale. It was imported from Japan by Land Cruisers Direct and I purchased it from them 24 July 2015. I have all of the import and purchase documents from when I purchased it that I can send to seriously interested people. My maintenance log is in an attached picture. As of today it has 283,337 kilometers on the clock and that will go up as I drive it to work a couple days a week. It has the 12HT engine, automatic transmission, and factory cable lockers front and rear. It has the 24 volt electrical system and the A/C blows nice and cold. I have not done a ton to it modification wise. I installed a different CD player with a 24-12 volt converter. Different wheels and tires and a 3" exhaust. Other than that it has...
SOLD:1990 FJ62 in Twin Falls, ID- needs lots of love-priced accordingly
Perils of letting kids drive the coolest car in the stable...... everyone was just fine. $1000 takes it salvageable goodies - about a 5K worth of suspension and axle work in fall of 2017, alcan springs 2.5" lift, regeared for 33"BFG allterrains, the bad- I don't have time right now to dig into it to discover the extent of the damage, radiator was pushed back far enough to knock the belts off. interior is average to good, right side looks good, no major dings or dents; left side doors have damage from a previous incident, power windows still work but locks don't. thanks Steve
San Francisco, 1984, FJ60
It’s time to down size, much to my wife and kid’s disappointment. I am selling a 1984 FJ60 with a 4BTA Cummins in it, the conversion was done by Proffitt’s cruisers in 2007. It has a 700r4 tranny. They swapped the engine and tranny only, no body work. (I called them last month to check the current price of this swap and it’s $40K) When I got it back, I took it to Cummins West and they checked the engine over and replaced the injectors and tuned the fuel pump back to stock. It runs great. The rest of the truck is Toyota. The motor was rebuilt by Recon in ’98 and had 100K miles when I bought it; I put @18k miles since then. The next tune up is in 80K miles. I just had the oil changed two months ago, along with the oil and...

1984 Fj60 Landcruiser W/ ac and all smog equip. $4k North Idaho
I have a super cool very original unmolested 60 with a lot of potential for greatness. Factory Ac and all smog equip related. Long story but I rescued this cruiser of my uncles dairy where it sat for the last 8 years. When I got the cruiser it was full of mouse crap and smelt terribly. I immediately pulled the carpet and trashed it and has also pulled the headliner as it was very necessary. Have spent severel trips to the car wash pressure washing it inside and out cleaning it. Has 4 very nice door cards. Pretty decent dash. Front seats are decent the rear probably needs recovered but isn’t bad for a work rig. Mechanically Since I’ve had the cruiser. Bled the clutch master, drained the old fuel, put new filters on, put new gas in...
1987 FJ60-western CO Price reduced
Well, it pains me to put this up for sale. But, driving a manual trans is pretty hard on my knee. So, the old girl must go, since a v8/auto swap is out of the question for years to come. It's an 1987 with approx 245,150 miles-this changes daily as I go and from work. Overall cruiser is really solid and could be easily finished by someone. Truck runs very well, starts in the cold with no problems. Trans and transfer case shift with no issues. Brakes are all new, stops very well now! Truck was desmogged by PO. Carb is an non-US spec aisin model. Frame is solid and not rusty. Mods/pros: Heavy/heavy OME suspension setup. Swaybar is not on truck, but included-I was going to buy extended links, but never got around to it...
