Why? Enlighten me.
Better all around tire. The MT (KM3) will likely have worse snow (in city, not big deep snow) and wet traction.

Especially since 95% of all miles the tire travels will be on pavement.

Yeah. I have read about the poor wet traction mts will have in general. They are usually also harder to balance after a couple miles. That said I also read bfg did some miracles with KM3s so was hopeful those would not be too bad with that specific MT. I am conflicted but think KO3s are my destine.

Whats the biggest that you can stuff underneath for a spare? Is that worth adding to the tracker?

285/75/18 KO3. Had to deflate, ratchet strap, and reinflate (only to 30) after it was in place.

Added to the spreadsheet. Just took off my snows and thanks to this and another thread, stuffed in 285/60/20's - got Bridgestone Dueler Ascent A/T (I know, debated the KO3's, much more highway and light off-roading). New pics with one showing some poke for those interested with the 30mm offset.

I think this is the size I going to go with.... why just switch the front bumps and not all 4?
On full compression in normal height (think 70mph on the highway) the front tires would just kiss the upper fender liners. This was only in the front and so I swapped in Perry Parts AHC bumpstops for the front, this resolved the issue.

I did try running PP in the rear, but the LX is softly sprung in the rear during normal mode/height driving and so I was bottoming out on the new BSs. I swapped back to OEM in the rear.

Crap. Tires showed up before the OT. 285/75/18 ko3’s going on after I leave the dealership.

To get the spare on, which they will tell you "won't fit"
  1. Deflate.
  2. Ratchet strap the circumference and compress
  3. Put into place.
  4. Remove strap and reinflate to 25-30psig to get the low pressure tire light to turn off.

I finally had a chance to download a speedometer app to see how the car speedometer vs the app, after getting the 275/75/18 and the speed on the car vs the app is pretty spot on. I got up to 70 (car) and the app hover between 70/71.

I barely drove the car, so I'm not sure if the ECU learned and adjusted or with the OEM tires is actually slower than the car speedometer shows.
