If you're removing it all for head gasket job the machine shop will/can clean all of that for you when they go through the head. Or pull it all apart (rocker assembly) and soak it yourself to clean. Machine shop will do the head itself.

Nope removing it greatly improves them so it's probably something else

So sounds like it's not tied into the temp sensor anymore and that wire is grounded. No issues running it this way unless you just don't want it to

Yeah need more info, could have just not waited he full 20-30 minutes and thinks it's not going to turn off. Grounding it works well. Doesn't bother me that it always turns on no matter what when the key is switched off

Those clamps you can grab with vice grips or channel locks and basically break them off. That hose is just straight and you can use just 5/8 heater hose from the parts store If you can't get it with that use a dremel with cutoff wheel

I got mine for a great price in the classifieds on here, and then saved some extra money by driving to pick it up myself. CruiserParts has full conversions for i think $7700, which might end up being worth it once you end up buying all the bits...

Zoom out some but those can stay. There's a triangular connection with three bolts that connects to the downpipe you can remove and pull the whole thing out

you can get by with some washers from any hardware store. The bushing kind of just takes out the side to side play i've ran without. If you want pics I can get some later tonight
