Runs solid but true mileage unknown. Guessing around 250k. Previous owner replaced/rolled back the odometer at some point. Engine replaced about a year ago by local reputable mechanic. Replacement engine had compression around 150. Just passed smog
Nice patina overall. Rust is pretty minimal although there are some small spots. Garaged most of the time I’ve owned it. Tons of photos.

Selling 1989 hj61 or trading for GX460 for my wife’s realtor job. Would love to trade if possible. Only 167k ish miles, super clean undercarriage. In the last 8 months full knuckle rebuild, brakes, rotors, Fuji tie rod end kit, sway links, bushings, 70 series side mirrors, hood to cowl seal, steering stabilizer (emu), OEM battery tray, fresh fluids (coolant flush, oil, trans, diffs, transfer). 33” Cooper AT3 Tires have about 3k on them with matching spare and rim. Hi all, offering up my 1988 HJ61 that was imported from Japan earlier this year and unfortunately came with transmission issues. It is in fantastic cosmetic condition with zero rust and the engine seems quite strong. It is drivable in current state but occasionally doesn't want to go into gear and has a vibration (can provide driving videos)
Would make a great candidate for a H55 swap. These are getting very hard to find without rust in Japan and although this one does need some TLC, it is a great truck overall.

Hey Mud! Here is my 1982 BJ60. This cruiser has been quite an introduction to the world of cruisers to say the least. The truck was sitting for about 5 years before I owned it. Its PO took this truck to the arctic circle and back and many other places in the states and I wanted to do the same. But here lies the issue the engine is blown I had got it running when I first purchased it and thought it only needed an injection pump and a head gasket. But as soon as I removed the head it was cracked beyond repair. Also when I removed the oil pan there was chunks of Camshaft bearing material. I have nor the time or money to restore the old beast. It is a Canadian BJ so expect the rust our maple syrup loving...

Life changes and we have to roll with it. Parting with my dream for now. I bought this beauty about a year and a half ago with the intention of driving it into the ground. But I'm getting married now and I could use the money. Price as always is less than what I have into it.
Prior owner had maintained it well and gave me his records. His mechanic put the head gasket on backwards though and I wasn't going to take the chance on whether the engine was damaged so I put in a refurbished engine (2F). New engine has just a couple hundred miles on it. There was 190,000 on the original. Records sorry this. 2 Land Cruisers for sale - both 1985 FJ60s.
The gray truck runs with a battery and when plumbed to a fuel can (fuel tank is bad). Most parts to put it together (and several other parts) are included. This truck has a BRAND NEW Old Man Emu full lift kit installed.
The blue truck is for parts, but has engine, transmission, transfer case, axles, steering, etc.
Gray truck is pretty solid and has VERY little rust. Blue truck has solid floors and rockers, but the top has been cut off.
I have clean Utah titles in my name for both trucks.
Price is for BOTH trucks. I will consider selling separate or possibly selling parts, but the value will be best if you take it all.

For sale 1989 mostly original FJ62. There is presence of rust on roof and small spot on the cowl. Interior is in mint condition with no rips or major stains. Truck has been thoroughly inspected and fluids flushed/replaced. Serpentine belt replaced 6/21. Local Greenville, SC truck. Great example of stock model to modify and make your own. I have a 1989 HJ61 with 80 coil conversion on the front and put 80 series axles front and rear done by Jason at Trail Tailor up in Redding, CA ARB air lockers front and rear, brand new transmission H55Fw transfer case with new rear main seal done while tranny was out done by George and his team at Valley Hybrids up in Stockton to include a New turbo (wink 4x4) and exhaust manifold and 3.5 exhaust from WnS out of Australia all done within the last 1000 miles. Asking for 48K OBO.
I also have a new AC system that hasn’t been installed with a bunch of other extra parts that will be included.

1984 FJ60 with original 2F. De-smogged. Daily driver since 2016, put in 32,291 miles since then, about 4,036 per year, New radiator, water pump, fan clutch and fan. Is time for someone else to continue the project and enjoy. Need a newer more comfortable LC to take wife and kids out in the trail.

Where do I begin... I love this FJ62 and frankly I spared no expense because of sentimental value since it was the exact same make/model/year as the rig that my family owned for 10 years and that started this disease/love for Land Cruisers. That being said, all I can say is that this one is dialed. I never in a million years foresaw all of the small things that would go into bringing something back to OEM+, but I know now and have a full spreadsheet of parts/cost for everything. I know I started with a Southern owned NON-RUSTY good vehicle and made it A LOT better from there.
I enlisted @cruisermatt for the significant upgrade/change with adding the H55f 5-speed because of his experience with that swap and I can attest that it has...
1989 FJ62 Land Cruiser, Toytota 3B diesel engine from an 85 BJ60 Land Cruiser. 5-speed manual (H55F), AC, Bluetooth radio, frontrunner slimline 2 roof rack. The suspension was replaced with a brand new Old Man Emu kit in 2018. Because of the diesel transplant the Oregon DEQ will not test the vehicle therefore it can not be registered in the testing regions around the Portland metro area and Medford. It has approximately 300,000 miles. $15000.00
