I am selling my 1HZ-T powered 1987 FJ60 Land Cruiser. I bought this from @davegonz in Feb 2020, and it's been a fun ride. However, it needs someone with decent mechanical ability to keep it in top shape and it ends up that's not me.

The original listing and the build photos cover the key features, but to restate:
  • 1HZ engine out of a low miles 1990 HZJ73. This engine is still produced by Toyota and parts are easily available.
  • H55F five speed with new seals.
  • Toyota boost compensator added to injection pump for use with the turbo
  • Rebuilt turbo out of a HDJ100 1HD-FTE. This turbo spools up fast and boosts to 20 PSI max.
  • BDS 2" lift with Bilstein shocks.
  • Toyota 16" steel rims with 285/75/16 BFG AT KO2's. These are practically new.
  • New AC system (condenser, compressor, hoses, drier, and evaporator). Running R134 and can cool down to low 40's in the hot Texas sun.
  • Front mount intercooler.
  • Front ARB bumper with winch (needs controller box rebuilt)
  • Rear custom dual swing out bumper utilizing 4x4Labs pivots. Sleep cooler rack on passenger side and tire carrier on driver's side. Also has integrated hitch and flat four trailer harness.
  • Boost and pyrometer gauges in stereo slot. Autometer diesel tach installed in stock location.
  • Large 10" Tuffy center console from an ICON FJ40.
  • LED front headlights.
  • ARB Safari Snorkel
  • New tie rod ends and birf job (axle seals, bearings, etc).
  • New Champion aluminum radiator and custom fan shroud.
Since I acquired it, I've added the following:
  • Kicker amp and new rear/front speakers
  • Updated LED dashlights
  • Replaced cylinder head
  • New battery and battery posts
It's got a bit more wear and tear and age on it, but is still a solid vehicle. Transmission will likely need to be rebuilt soon, and it's got a few leaks here and there. If you are good with a wrench, this is a great vehicle to play with!

Priced to sell at $15K. I'm a motivated seller, make me an offer!

We are moving from Austin at the end of February, so my friend will be coordinating test drives and wheeling and dealing in my stead after we leave.
