Bought this for my wife a little over a year ago but she blames me for this choice and she originally wanted an FJ60 like our previous one. Now she’s wanting a brand new BMW M2 so this is on the chopping block. Hell, I might even sell my FD and Triumph at this point…

Bought this from @hdj8081 and he can provide more details previous to our ownership. Since I’ve purchased we changed the following:

New KO3 tires
New O.E. brass/copper rad (imported from Middle East) and thermostat
New heater hoses kit from terrain tamer
New Morimito sealed beam headlights (brighter and a shaper cut-off than our Audi)

EDIT: forgot to mention the brand new O.E. windshield wiper reservoir

Asking 35k registered in Cali

The truck has definitely had a respray prior to our purchase.

More pics of under carriage, engine bay, interior, and all side would help you.

I even have some stainless steel quarter panels and tailgate lid I may throw in made by a member here that went by SoCal love I think. They were originally for my 60 but since I’m doing a Ute chop on my 60 I won’t need these.

Will post photos tonight when I get home…

Ute chop sounds cool!

ordered the Rad from here:

I wanted something period correct.

Hows the interior look? Any issues? Good clutch? Any gears grind or pop out on gears? Hows the roof drip rails? Any obvious rust repairs? Lockers? I have a friend that may be looking for one.

No lockers. Known issues are the 1-2 shift is rough, hence why it’s in the shop. Clutch is great. Oddly there are no leaks…seats are in very good shape. No tears or significant wear. Dash pad has cracks carpet is not too shabby. The left rear about the taillight looks to have had a repair. Not sure of the reason.

I can snap more pics of the roof rails but if this was anything like the 40 we bought from Texas during COVID, we wouldn’t have bought it.
