Cleaned it up after a few days of working and leaving tools all over/in it. Gearing up for the next big push!
I finished up the windshield wiper wiring. Acting on @Coolerman's advice, I ran a separate ground from the wiper housing to the frame ground. I buffed off some of the paint surrounding the bolt hole, but covered it with the conducting carbon paste.
Also routed a separate ground wire (white/black trace) with the feed through the top of the windshield for the B pillar "dome" light.

the clips are the original, wire-wheeled, primer and painted.
i dipped them in "plasti dip", to replace the plastic coating that was peeling off of the originals.
Removed pilot bearing using the bread trick. Two pieces of soft, white bread, some electrical tape on a 3/8" extension, and about (20) whacks with a dead blow hammer. Did what the specialty tool could not.

After the above photos were taken I swapped out the signal generator with one from an early '80s Cressida - signal generator courtesy @ToyotaMatt. I installed the distributor in my '76 FJ40 yesterday and took it for a spin around town. Works great. The new NipponDenso advancer has a similar vacuum advance curve to the advancer in the 08/76 through 09/77 2F distributor. Installation requires only one minor modification to the distributor housing. I've posted more of these new NipponDenso advancers in the For Sale forum, with additional technical information on the advancer and how the same advancer can be used in the 01/75 through 09/77 2F distributors.
Hauled a bunch of cinderblocks to bring up the raised beds one more brick height. Hopefully it'll mean no more leaning over to harvest. Backs not what it used to be. DOH!!

Every year. Got a batch of seeds from NMSU started in the sunroom. Still too cool at night to plant them outside. Though not in the raised beds, they got their own spot outside.

Made progress on the passenger side floor tonight, on to fixing the transmission hump. Rattle can for the win!
Figure if I am putting jump seats in, they might as well have some heat.

New temp sensor and boot protector/connector cleaned/soldered wiring and I still get very low temp reading..... I just have a cold blooded old girl? Thermostat or gauge issue? She runs fine - maybe I’ll let well enough alone 
Since I had to drain coolant, opted to flush and replace..... It had green (which is likely just fine)..... started to go with the Toyota red until I found out the price so I went with a cheaper compromise.......

Went to the body shop and found the 1984 FJ40 outside the shop waiting patiently on the new 3/4 tub
