New temp sensor and boot protector/connector cleaned/soldered wiring and I still get very low temp reading..... I just have a cold blooded old girl? Thermostat or gauge issue? She runs fine - maybe I’ll let well enough alone :hillbilly:

Since I had to drain coolant, opted to flush and replace..... It had green (which is likely just fine)..... started to go with the Toyota red until I found out the price so I went with a cheaper compromise.......

Have you removed the thermostat housing? My '78 was running wayyyy too cool. Popped the housing off and NO GASKETS  Installed new ones and that did the trick.

Collected maple sap and canned my very first ever maple syrup.

Tastes awesome!

Gave @lcwizard all my money.

Regret nothing.

Installed the new clutch master and the slave’s up next. Then installed a new voltage regulator and routed the wiring harness back through after going through it. New fuse panel from @Racer65, the light bulb is giving me issues so I left it for now. Finally installed @ToyotaMatt awesome overflow bottle.

Installed a set of @lcwizard ubolt flip kits on the rear. I’ve been without rear shocks since I got it back in the road two years ago. the lower shock mounts were stripped(rusted) and I procrastinated this long on a solution, until last week. I impulse bought a set and slapped them on. Nice kit.

Those Nitrochrger shocks are twenty years old, but not really any mileage

Unfortunately, my brake line decided to spring a leak after the install. I’ll call it three steps forward and one back.

Joining the local club for a trail ride on Saturday. The kid won’t like an hour drive without a top. Better get the trailer ready.

An hour of shoveling and I’m five feet from the trailer. Hopefully I get some more time tomorrow.

Got time to get back on the 4 speed install. Got the shift linkage for the PTO and High/Low lengthened, I`m keeping the H/L shifting under the dash, also got the drive shafts back from made longer and shorter. After a long day got the engine oil/filter changed linkage rods installed drive shafts installed and all buttoned up and back on the road.

The shift cane is going to come back out and get the angle adjusted

The parking brake never worked as good as this rehabbed one works.

Now I need to lengthen the PTO drive shaft.
