Took the fam camping, went up Old Fall River road in Rocky Mountain National Park and the next day went out with a friend to do the Middle St Vrain Trail + Coney Flats. I loved the water crossings and was happy the truck could make it up & through the rock garden, but boy were my shoulders tired after the day!

Awesome pic. For those less experienced try to never shift while in the water - pick the gear right as you enter the water and wade all the way across maintaining the speed. A little light pressure on the brake pedal will help with drum brakes, but you really need to drag them hard when you get out. I once almost wrecked because the brakes didn't work on the steep downhill on the other side of the fording.

I took mine up to Bill Moore Lake, then we went up to the Middle St. Vrain trail the following weekend. It is in the shop getting sized for a new top.

My 60 is my typical daily but I drive my 40 a lot. We were running errands the other day and went to Wendy’s to get the kids frostys. While in the drive through a guy was suddenly standing next to me (my top and doors off) and asked if he could take pics, then walked away.
On the way to our next stop, a guy was flashing his lights a bunch and followed us into the parking lot. Before it was even shut off he was out and right next to me and asked if I’d sell.
“Sure, everything’s for sale”
“Id give you $3000 right now and that’s cash”
“Nope, not even close”
“I could come up to $4000”
“No thanks”
“Ok, $5000, that’s as high as I’d go on something in this shape and remember, that’s cash”
“Thanks for the interest, but I don’t need to sell it and we are waaaay too far apart to keep going with this”
“Let me guess, you think you’d get like $10k out of a pile like this?! I buy these all day long for less than I even offered you!”

At this point he walked back around to his car so I just drove off, who knows what he’d do while we were in the store.

A few months ago, had a similar interaction while I was in a store real quick and my wife was sitting in it. Someone asked her to buy it and said $5k, she said “he might consider it for $35k?”, the guy called her a high crackhead and walked into the store as I was walking out. I thought it was funny.

Did you happen to post any pictures after this thread? I am really curious about what you have over there that folks are offering $5k for.
