Exhaust day. Whole system was rotted, y pipe had been welded by the previous owner. New y pipe and rust correction now having a shop weld the cat back with a 50 series flowmaster. Im terrible with pictures but had really good luck with Rust Mort by SEM. Turns rust into paintable metal using acid.
Who's doing your exhaust? I'd love to check it out because I need someone to bend up a new system for my truck.

Well I really can't beat the helmet so back to your regular program..... New here, picked this up then proceeded to take it up into Gifford Pinchot and tried to get stuck, or break. Didn't do either one. It's a PIG for sure and while I thought MPG was bad didn't know it was going to be HORRIBLE! Def need to re-power.

Actually last weekend, fixed a couple things.
After I bought the new one, I started worrying it wasn't the handle, but something in the latch.
Once it was disconnected and off, it became evident that the spring had broken, causing it to jam up at times.
While there, I found a couple pins on the window switch had corrosion, so I went after that with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol.
Then I finished with peeling the wood trim off.
Now there's just a little bit of the wood left on the dash and other doors.

I joined the club this weekend. Picked up locked 1995 with 140k miles, good interior, no rust, and terrible paint. Couple weeks and I hope to have her looking pretty and all updated on maintenance and fluids.
Got rid of some codes by getting the first MAF wire grounded and replacing spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, cleaned fuel injectors too.

Is that scotch lock something you added to repair it, or is it from a P.O. and you’re fixing it correctly? They are nearly the worst way to wire anything.
