One of my injectors is starting to leak. So removed injectors for blue print, clean, flow and balanced @ RC Engineering. They came back looking like new.
I can't express how excited I am to finally be able to post in this thread. This weekend, I picked up my long-awaited HDJ81 from the port. After over half a year of looking for the right vehicle, this past weekend it finally all came together...
Fixed my window so that it goes down AND up again.
Also, canceled my lockers and gear order from Xtreme Overland because it was going to take months before they could gets the parts and ordered Eaton lockers, 4.88 gears, and master install kits...
Wife stitched on my new steering wheel cover. Easy to pop off the wheel to hand to her. :-) Photo washes it out but it matches well. I've got the same brand on my 100 Series.

Finally heard back from legendex
They said 409 stainless will eventually rust and they recommend repainting it every 7-8 years. They have no explanation why mine is rusting after 7-8 months. So I'll pull it. Strip it to bare metal, repaint it...
Klein did the best fades. The new progressive geo's are so much better than old MTB geometry. And the old straight gauge aluminum tubes were ass hatchets.
Replaced all the weatherstripping on my front and rear doors today.
The doors make a noticeably more secure "thud" when I close them, which is a nice added advantage outside of keeping the elements out.
A diesel 80 (if you manage to find one) is going to be pretty unique in the area as they were never sold in the US and would have an engine that was never sold in the US in any other vehicle, unless you buy one that’s been swapped to a Cummins or...

I am pulling the body off my '96 this weekend(or next), and have been working with a few folks to run down the last of my parts. The 12 valve is built and will be married to the fully rebuilt NV4500 soon.
We've been installing the trim and found some missing clip tabs. Luckily, my son was able to replicate the design and 3D print the tabs. I also patched some cracks in the dash pad with polyvance products and found a close match for the vinyl...
