Been there, got f'ed by that sorta thing too... but in all honesty it WOULD be hard to pass up the extra 5k.... but he at LEAST should have given you first opportunity to get it at the new offer price.

Now, that said I have an as-yet-unrestored LV that I'd let go at 10k (to start)...

My new find in Kenya. The Cruiser was imported new and first registered in Kenya in Aug 1970 with year of manufacturing stated the same year. Overall in good original shape with no restoration done other than new paint (unfortunately) and the F engine rebuild.

FJ45-30768 (I guess that would place the year manufacturing around 1968)

I'm looking to restore it, but keep it as a daily/weekend driver and safari vehicle. I had a '77 BJ40 that I had to sell in Botswana because it could not be imported into Kenya due to age restriction.

Any direction would be appreciated for:

- door weather stripping including tailgate
- window rubber for front vent window
- rear light cover and rubber gaskets

Picked up a FJ45LV last weekend. Waiting to get my title back from the DMV and then it will be added to the list! Super excited for the build. Planning on dropping in a super low mile 2F and 4 speed from a 86 60 series. Old engine is toast, but will be slowly rebuilt over the years.

It really does have a good look. Hopefully all the pieces are still inside. It was very complete. Had a bit of work done in the rear floors and I think there was a patch or 2 on the roof that needed some love but it's nice.
