Love milwaukee tools. We have some corded milwalkee tools that have been going strong since 1990.The Lokar cables I use have a very low tolerance for heat. I clamped this one to the manifold thinking that would be a safe distance from the header.
That was not far enough. The throttle started
Sticking and I knew I got it too hot.
Luckily I had a spare sleeve here.
Problem is, once you cut one of these cables they fray terribly. If you twist it back and try to get it back into the new sleeve it’s really hard to do
I finally found a solution. Teflon tape.
It’s back on and way out of the way now
